Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).

Bechtel is now accepting applications for IS&T Undergraduates to join our 2026 Graduate Program located at our Brisbane office. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide frontline application support for a large portfolio of applications. Based in Brisbane you will be part of a global team supporting engineering design and project management applications and data exchanges.
Reporting to the Manager of Applications Support you will collaborate with internal business customers and global peers to ensure applications and data exchanges are implemented in line with Bechtel standards. There will be opportunities for growth and exposure to multiple departments and work processes through collaboration with both business work process owners and the global Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organisation.
As the successful candidate, you will gain a great understanding of how a large global company operates and the key role IS&T has in successful business and project delivery.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Respond to customer needs, questions and concerns and expedite actions in an accurate, effective and timely manner
+ Support project application and data integration strategies by installing and maintaining software from an approved suite of company and project standard
+ Facilitate project systems reporting, data integration and work process review and improvement
+ Install and maintain software from an approved suite of company standards
+ Learn and follow standard operating procedures for end user IT requests, incident support and asset management practices
+ Participate in the rollout of new technologies, services and security remediations
+ Assist in project application and data exchange planning, deployment and support processes.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI and reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
+ Upgrade applications, migrate between applications, migrate data between applications
+ Develop Windows and web-based applications and utilities to automate business activities
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Applicants must have (or be about to complete) a Bachelor's degree at an accredited university within the last 12 months
+ Be an Australian citizen or have the right to permanently work and remain in Australia without sponsorship, and,
+ Be able to pass any pre-employment requirements such as a drug screen and background check.
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Eager to learn a broad array of general IS&T skills related to applications, why they are used, how they configured for department-specific use and how they exchange data between them
+ Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
+ Build productive and collaborative working relationships with local teams and global peers
+ Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
+ Some knowledge of relational database design and querying using SQL
+ Some software development experience with C#/.NET and/or PowerShell being preferred
+ Some knowledge of PowerBI and PowerApps
