Exciting opportunity to join our growing and dynamic Paediatric service providing diabetes self-management education to children with diabetes and their families. Also supporting schools and childcare centres to care for children with diabetes in their care. A working knowledge of diabetes technologies highly regarded.

Exciting opportunity to join our growing and dynamic Paediatric service providing diabetes self-management education to children with diabetes and their families. Also supporting schools and childcare centres to care for children with diabetes in their care. A working knowledge of diabetes technologies highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care to children admitted to the paediatric ward at Joan Kirner
- Support outpatient services for children with diabetes
- Support schools etc to assist children with their diabetes management
- You will be an excellent communicator with both children, their families and the multidisciplinary team
- You must be a keen learner, particularly with diabetes technologies
- You must prioritise the needs of the child and their family/carer
- Hold a valid Victorian driver’s licence
