**A Day in the Life**
Join our Surgical Robotics team as a Senior Robotic Clinical Support Specialist and support the clinical engagement and utilization of the Hugo Robotic Assisted Surgery System in Queensland. In this role, you will support the system installations by helping to train surgical teams and maintaining the overall robotic program at your account. Additionally, you will support the local team in raising awareness and expanding our surgeon base by promoting the Hugo RAS System.

Reporting to the Robotic Clinical Specialist (RCS) Manager for Surgical Robotics ANZ, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the utilization of the Hugo RAS system.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Supporting installation activities
+ Working closely with Medtronic Field Service Engineers and hospital staff to prepare the operating room for the Medtronic robot
+ Working with RCS Manager to develop an inventory plan for robotic procedures
+ Training hospital staff to clean and sterilise reusable robotic instruments
+ Working with RCS manager to develop, coordinate, and execute surgeon and OR team training plans
+ Supporting local customer training team to deliver the Hugo RAS Customer Training Program
+ Working with internal stakeholders to arrange proctored cases as needed
+ Maintaining ongoing Hugo RAS system coaching and continuous improvement initiatives
+ Tracking milestones to showcase the value delivered by the Hugo RAS program
+ Supporting the local team in raising awareness for robotic surgery in the hospital
+ Supporting clinical engagement in key opportunities
+ Supporting technology adoption by attending non-Hugo RAS system cases with target surgeons
+ Data management and reporting
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Demonstrable experience in clinical setting or capital equipment sales
+ Operating Room knowledge or experience
+ Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation, strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery
+ Experience in change management
+ Willingness to travel depending on project needs; occasional weekend work as needed

    About Uniting Griffith

    Uniting Griffith has 3 separate households, each with between 17 and 30 residents, including a Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Our Leisure and Lifestyle Team ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.

    We're transitioning to Household Living – our innovative approach to care – which will empower our residents to live their way, just as they would in any family home.

    What you’ll be doing in this role

  • You will be a clinical leader in the service, and you will develop, deliver and evaluate resident care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents
  • You’ll need sharp clinical assessment skills and will take the lead in providing clinical services
  • Get to know each resident and become a fundamental part of their life
  • Play an important role in making sure the care provided meets residents’ individual goals
  • You’ll liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members to advocate for clients’ quality of life
  • Supervise and support our Personal Care Workers
  • Practice in a holistic way, using your critical decision-making skills to lead the team.

    Who we’re looking for

  • You’ll have previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
  • You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
  • You’ll be committed to contemporary aged care nursing practice.
  • You’ll hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.

    We provide high-quality, round-the-clock care for up to 114 residents in private rooms with shared communal spaces.
    Our compassionate team works closely with residents to understand their individual care needs, tailor support to ensure comfort, and arrange engaging activities that are meaningful and enjoyable

    Role Overview:
    As a Registered Nurse at Uniting Armidale, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional person -centred care to our residents. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will ensure that each resident received the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs.

    Key Responsibilities:
    •Clinical Leadership: Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive care plans, ensuring they reflect the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
    •Clinical Assessment & Service Delivery: Utilise advanced clinical assessment skills to provide high-quality nursing services including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs.
    •Resident Relationships: Build meaningful relationships with residents, becoming a trusted and integral part of their daily lives.
    •Goal-Orientated Care: Collaborate with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure care plans align with individual goals and enhance quality of life.
    •Advocacy & Communication: Act as a liaison between residents, families and health professionals advocating for residents’ rights and preferences.
    •Team Collaboration & Supervision: Provide guidance and support to other Nurses, Care Workers fostering a collaborative and cohesive team environment.
    •Holistic Practise: Apply critical thinking and evidence-based practices to deliver holistic care, addressing the physical, emotional and social needs of residents.
    •Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, standards and facility policies including the Aged Care Quality Standards.

    Qu lifications & Experience:
    •Hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree with current registration (AHPRA).
    •You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
    •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    •Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
    •Empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older residents.
    •Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
    •Previous Registered Nursing experience in aged or community care is highly desirable however we welcome applications from nurses with experience in other healthcare settings who are passionate about transitioning into Aged Care.
