The SRE team is a group of highly technical engineers who are tasked with maintaining and developing the reliability, scalability and performance of the ServiceNow infrastructure. The SRE is empowered to drive technical resolutions across the technology stack from hardware through to application and all stops in between. They are also tasked with driving forward the operability of the platform to drive down the number of incidents and to reduce MTTR.

**Basic Job Requirements**
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
**Other Job Requirements**
- May support or participate in presentations to larger project audiences
- Participate in Fluor University courses for continued learning experiences
- Utilize knowledge management communities to capture, support and leverage relevant knowledge to enhance project execution
- Participate in vendor trade shows and become familiar with new technologies and industry business direction
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Seven (7) years of experience in engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) industry including minimum one (1) successful construction and /or commissioning completed field assignment
- Experience executing and managing risk assessments initiatives
- Experience in international locations and diverse cultural environments is recommended
- Experience in the performance of functional tasks on projects with a well developed understanding of procedures and interfaces
- Detailed knowledge of Fluor's software tools and databases preferred
- Proficient at initiating and growing solid relationships with the client, vendors and suppliers while meeting the company business needs and goals
- Adaptable and able to maintain effectiveness in changing circumstances
- Ability to set and maintain high standards of performance with responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments and tasks
- Proactive in taking prompt and appropriate action to ensure objectives are accomplished and apply necessary follow-up to monitor progress and results of project tasks and assignments
- Analytical approach to problem solving and identifying potential solutions
- Technical and business writing skills
- Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, electronic presentations, and project management tools
- Certification in project management suggested, for example Project Management Professional (PMP)

We are looking for an experienced Area Project Engineer with good communication, leadership and client interfacing skills, with demonstrated experience in delivery of brownfields, bulk materials reclaimers / balance machines packages, either as part of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or EPCM / EPC organisation. # Major Responsibilities:
+ Reviewing offers from OEM's and completing technical evaluation of machines package offers against the package including specifications, scope of work and the other package requirements.
+ Reviewing vendor technical documentation submissions for compliance to the package requirements and assisting with technical issue resolution.
+ Interfacing with, and providing support to the Machines Project Engineer, other engineering disciplines, Procurement and the Construction team coordinating efforts to deliver the project scope and the successful delivery of the machines package.
+ Controlling the mechanical scope and flagging of scope changes (via Trends) as they arise related to the mechanical discipline or packages being supported.
+ Interfacing with stakeholders, internal and external, assisting with negotiations to integrate contractors' activities, consultants' inputs, user and top management, as well as liaise with the Client.
+ Coordinating with the client representatives to obtain their approval on phase of work.
+ Planning, developing, coordinating and reviewing work within the mechanical discipline on the project.
+ Supervising day-to-day the technical work of the mechanical engineers and designers within the team.
+ Estimating staffing needs and schedules and assigns work to meet schedule dates.
+ Monitoring and tracking progress for the Mechanical team including reporting current status, future needs and issues as they arise.
+ Actively supports the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, development, innovation and satisfaction
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Tertiary engineering qualifications, preferably Mechanical and previous experience on EPCM projects
+ Minimum 10 years industry experience and a minimum of 6 years bulk materials handling experience essential, including experience with mechanical discipline aspects of rail-mounted stockyard machines preferred.
+ Front end engineering and planning experience preferred.
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Proven experience in similar role(s) with "brownfields" knowledge and successes will be viewed favourably.
+ Comfortably able to work as part of integrated engineering team comprising the other engineering disciplines / multi-functional (procurement, construction, start-up) and transglobal teams.
+ Skilled in oral and written communication.
+ Language skills in Mandarin written/verbal/technical would be beneficial but not essential.
+ Strong organisational and planning skill
