The Field Service Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external customers while driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence. Installing and maintaining electronic medical equipment across imaging modalities across Western Australia.
This role has a multi-modality focus including Radiopharmacy (RP), CT, Molecular Imaging (MI) and Xray
**Job Description**
**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Install equipment in a high quality, professional manner with strong attention to detail in accordance with the company standards, compliance standards and customer requirements.
+ 2+ years previous experience working with Cyclotron and/or Medical Diagnostic Imaging products, or relevant equivalent industry experience
+ Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with company standards, compliance standards and customer requirements.
+ Make corrective repair calls in a timely manner, aligned with customer contract requirements and repair the equipment in accordance with company standards and directives and customer requirements.
+ Ensure timely completion of Field Modification Instructions (FMI's).
+ Advise management when response time objectives cannot be met i.e. If there are two site visits in relation to the same problem, inform Senior Field Engineer (SFE).
+ The Field Service Engineer retains ownership of the problem until it is resolved.
+ The Field Service Engineer must keep the customer, SFE, and Service Delivery Manager (SDM) informed on progress.
+ Keep management and commercial account managers fully aware of all developments in the installed base.
+ Keep customers fully satisfied by keeping them informed of activities when on site and/or working on their behalf whilst on site.
+ Report regularly to management in accordance with reporting guidelines/procedures.
+ Complete other assignments and projects as directed.
+ Follow the alert procedure for system down.
+ Attend technical and general skills development training courses as directed and keep abreast of developments/technical product information.
+ Work within the defined responsibilities as documented in GE Healthcare Spirit and Letter Commitment Form to ensure compliance.
+ Accurately complete and lodge all service documentation in a timely manner within company guidelines.
+ Ensure all company property (tools, test equipment, motor vehicle) is kept in optimum condition and test tools calibrated according to the schedule requirements.
+ Ensure that parts usage/ordering is optimized from both the companies and the customer's perspective.
**Quality Specific Goals:**
+ Be aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
+ Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
+ Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.
+ Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.
+ Ensure timely job dispatch closure and send customer reports as required by company guidelines.
+ Ensure completion of all field modifications instructions (FMI's) within prescribed timeframe.
+ Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
+ Technical capability and willingness to work on GE HealthCare medical imaging/medical diagnostic products.
+ Knowledge and prior experience working on cyclotron is highly desirable
+ Knowledge and experience working in CT, PET, Nuclear Medicine or Xray would be desirable
+ Electronic/ Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technician or equivalent electrical trade
+ Relevant licenses as required by Federal or State Legislation (eg: Electrical/Radiation Licenses), Work Cards (eg: White Card) and Australian Drivers licence (Class C minimum)
+ The role will have a strong focus on medical IT systems. Skills in TCP/IP, WIFI and medical networks is preferred.
**Vaccine for Preventable Diseases**
+ Depending on location, some states have mandated or are intending to mandate that contractors who enter healthcare sites must be able to provide evidence of vaccination for vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs) prior to working at their premises.
+ GE Healthcare does have an EHS Medical Services Program. We have an immunisation and vaccination program covering any GE Healthcare employee who is required to enter a site and conduct work where there is the likelihood of potential exposure or acquisition through respiratory means to VPDs.
+ To ensure your risk is minimised, you may be required to provide evidence of immunity /vaccination prior to commencing with GE Healthcare in such locations where it has been mandated. Equally you may be required to provide evidence of vaccination post-employment, in the event that further sites mandate this requirement.

We are looking for experienced electricians to install, test, commission, service and repair PQ products and systems (AC and DC products), ensuring equipment conforms with company operating specifications and customer requirements. The successful candidate will provide a high level of customer support and thereby assist in the retention and gaining of new customers and new business.
**This role will require you to travel 50% or more to mine sites to perform the job mentioned above.**

+ Be aware of the company's and your own obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations as well as the company's documented Quality Management system.

+ Co-ordinate contract personnel on-site where appropriate
+ Provide phone support for DeltaV clients

+ Customer site work may require periods of 2-3weeks onshore and offshore, away from home

+ Undertake or advance technical investigations in response to customer requirements
+ Develop and compile high-quality technical investigation reports
+ Provide technical advice to customers, arranging follow-up on more difficult matters
+ To work on larger DeltaV implementation projects if required
+ Deliver system and software upgrades and configuration often on-site with our existing clients.
+ Provide support to other Emerson service branches as required
+ Use the Service Management Office (SMO) operating procedures and templates or the Project Management Office (PMO) for the applicable work scope.
+ Updating technical know-how about product lines through own initiatives and company-sponsored training.
+ To maintain appropriate documentation for all service or project-related tasks and submit in a timely manner.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Onsite technical maintenance experience on a DCS (DeltaV preferred)
+ Chemical or electrical engineering degree, trade certificate or relatable apprenticeship
+ DCS diagnostic and problem analysis experience
+ Solving issues related to DCS hardware, software, installation, configuration, integration, and application enquiries.
+ Fault finding, minor upgrades, general repair and maintenance

We have a fantastic opportunity for an **Advanced** **Field Service Engineer** within our HPS AU team. The role is based in **Gladstone, Queensland** and requires a successful person to be a client facing working with our premium client.
**Key Responsibilities:**
In this role you will work with large range of Honeywell technology and products including Experion, Safety Manager, Uniformance, EBR, Carbon Black and others.
**Experion:**
+ Troubleshoot issues related to Station - displays, safeview, trends, flex/console, FTE
+ Troubleshoot issues related to Servers - server redundancy, OPC connections, C300 controllers
+ Edit graphics, create points/controllers/channels, edit/monitor CM charts via Config Studio/Control Builder/Quickbuilder/HMIWeb Display Builder.
**Safety Manager:**
+ Troubleshoot diagnostics
+ Apply/Remove forces
+ Read and understand FLDs
**Other responsibilities**
+ Conduct customer acceptance testing and final commissioning of systems on site.
+ Programming of controllers in a variety of languages.
+ Maintain, install and service DCS/SCADA packages and other software in the MES layer.
+ Maintain, install and service Industrial control equipment on a variety of industrial sites.
+ Customer: reporting, planned service requirements and informing of possible system enhancements and upgrade paths
+ Implementation of Control Systems projects, typically using Honeywell TPS and/or Experion controller and supervisory systems, and/or third-party PLC controllers.
+ Implement projects using Honeywell Tools and processes, provide input for constant improvement of processes.
+ Technical delivery and troubleshooting of Control Systems preventative and remedial maintenance
**Key Experience & Capabilities:**
+ Ideally 10yrs Experience delivering SCADA, DC's and Safety Systems along with advanced software applications e.g plant historians
+ Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical / Mechatronics
+ In depth knowledge of industrial instrumentation & control equipment
+ Experience with setting up and maintaining networks
+ Good understanding of the financial aspects of engineering
