In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
+ Retain and defend existing customers and prospect and develop new opportunities to grow the Power Generation business across NSW, including both metro and regional areas.
+ Sell low Kva generators and High Horsepower (HHP) projects to maximise sales growth within the state.
+ Prepare and manage PowerGen quotes for NSW customers.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, end users, and consultant customers throughout NSW.
+ Independently develop and execute account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within the assigned sales territory, market segment, or channel partners.
+ Work closely with Consultants, Electrical Contractors, and End Users to understand customer needs and priorities and offer appropriate Cummins solutions.
+ Understand the value chain players and sales process required to win Major Projects, utilising your strong account planning and face-to-face meeting skills.
+ Conduct negotiations according to company guidelines, working closely with internal stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Project Management.
+ Demonstrate strong Sales Opportunity Pipeline Management skills to proactively plan for successful execution of sales strategies and to produce accurate Sales Forecasts.
+ Travel throughout metro and regional NSW will be required.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ Very strong Electrical or Mechanical background with a solid understanding of engines and/or electrical systems. Power Generation experience is highly desirable.
+ Previous sales experience in a similar role is preferred.
+ Superior communication skills with the ability to negotiate and develop new business.
+ Experience using CRM is essential. Knowledge of Salesforce will be an advantage.
+ Knowledge of Commercial contracts.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Compile and communicate order status, inventory status and other associated information to customer facing sales force.
+ Assists in resolving of customer issues (including shipment and after sale).

+ Prepare finance forecast and accumulation of the project financial data; for presentation to the leadership and finance departments.

+ Be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for renewable facilities including wind, solar and battery storage facilities, amongst other emerging technologies.
+ Use your project management experience to oversee projects whilst reviewing and signing off on concept designs for power generation facilities on projects across Victoria.
+ Act as technical leaders for the development of specifications whilst working with Senior Leadership Team with key clients and stakeholders.
+ Act as a part of Owner's Engineer team on projects to ensure the project is delivered according to the clients' requirements. Provide technical advice and use your project management experience to advise on project timelines, schedule, budget, contractor management and risk management.

Who You AreYou're a skilled and detail-oriented Power Plant Operator with expertise in managing the operation, maintenance, and safety of power generation systems. With a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, you excel at monitoring equipment, performing routine inspections, and responding swiftly to system abnormalities. Your technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to efficiency ensure uninterrupted power supply and safe operations.

Known for your ability to maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations, optimize performance, and collaborate with team members, you play a critical role in supporting mission-critical operations. What You'll DoIn the role of Power Plant Operator, your duties will include:
+ Monitor and control power-generating equipment to ensure that power plant operations are running efficiently.
+ Adjust controls to regulate electricity flow and distribution, adjusting output as needed.
+ Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on power plant equipment to ensure optimal operation.
+ Read charts, meters, and gauges to monitor voltage and electricity flows.
+ Identify and rectify electrical or mechanical faults for the prevention of plant breakdowns.
+ Record and compile operational data, using logbooks or computers for data entry.
+ Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel.
+ Start or stop generators, turbines, or other equipment as necessary.
+ Respond to emergencies, system failures, and power outages, implementing contingency plans as needed.
+ Other duties as required.
Requirements:
+ Must be a US or Australian Citizen
+ Must possess a US TS/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
+ Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Power Plant Operator.
+ Must have an OEM Powerplant Operator Certification.
+ Must be CAT certified.
+ Desired: Certified Generator Mechanic
