**Key Responsibilities**

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
+ Equivalent experience to, or, a Cert IV in Supply Chain (Procurement, Material Logistics), Contracting, Business, Commerce, Law, or Finance, or relevant technical background.
+ Minimum of 5 years prior relevant procurement and/or purchasing experience.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
+ Ability to create impactful presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint for stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**
+ Leads or assists in drafting initial tender packages including developing BOQ for pricing sheets, and compiling key contract documents;
+ Participates in tender recap reviews and scope compliance verification;
+ Performs quantity take-offs and tracks changes between 30% to IFC level designs:
+ Reviews vendor product / equipment data for compliance to procurement specification;
+ Leads or assists in writing award recommendations, limit of liability / liquidated damages requests, and risk mitigation plans;
+ Prepares subcontract/supply agreements, and coordinates T&Cs / scope of works reviews;

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience or equivalent.
+ 3-5 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating, procurement or related field experience is preferred.
+ Successfully awarded supply /or subcontract agreements valued at up to $10 million.
+ Experience with freight forwarders/ logistics is an asset
+ General construction knowledge; understands specifications, drawings, materials, and methods and procedures.
+ Familiar with different delivery methods: hard bid, guaranteed maximum price GMP), unit price, design-build, target prices, and cost reimbursable.
+ Introductory knowledge of key principles involved in bid preparation, including quantity takeoff procedures and systems, subtrade partner procurement, interdepartmental functions, pricing, and compensation models.
+ Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including the ability to solicit subtrade partners and suppliers.
+ Working knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.

Join KBR as we continue to expand and strengthen our Land Systems Division in Melbourne! We are seeking experienced Procurement Officers with a strong defence background and a passion for delivering complex projects that enhance Australia's defence capability.
In this role, you will contribute to some of Australia's most significant land systems programs, specifically within the Land Vehicle Systems Branch, helping to ensure that cutting-edge vehicles and equipment are delivered on time, on budget, and to exacting standards.
This is a hands-on role, offering the opportunity to influence procurement strategies, streamline supply chains, and directly support the sustainment and readiness of Australia's land systems capabilities.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
Responsibilities:
+ Planning, coordinating, and executing procurement activities for the AFV Branch, including sourcing, tendering, and contracting.
+ Managing suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining quality and compliance with Defence standards.
+ Overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials from suppliers to internal teams and customers.
+ Applying procurement methodologies and contract options to resolve complex supply chain challenges.
+ Contributing to tender development, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts in alignment with best practice and Defence requirements.
+ Developing and improving processes to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
+ Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members on procurement practices and systems.
+ Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting for procurement activities, ensuring compliance with Defence and organisational standards.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
+ Eligible to hold and maintain an AGSVA NV1 (or higher) Baseline Security Clearance.
+ Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Law, Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., MCIPS).
+ Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within Defence, Defence industry primes, or complex engineering environments.
+ Strong knowledge of procurement methodologies, contract options, and tender processes.
+ Excellent organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
+ High proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Word.
+ Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships.
+ Professional, discreet, and collaborative approach with a focus on delivering results in a team environment.

**The Opportunity**
CBRE is seeking a highly organised Procurement Administrator to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team on the ISPT Portfolio. In this role, you will provide vital support across supplier management, compliance, and procurement processes, ensuring the smooth delivery of services to our property clients.
