PagerDuty is seeking a **Professional Services Consultant** to join our talented, customer-focused team! As Professional Services Consultant, you will report to the Expert Services leadership team and partner closely with key customers, sales, and product teams to deliver large-scale onboarding, custom integrations, and comprehensive platform implementations that enable customers to achieve their business goals through PagerDuty's platform. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish methodologies and repeatable processes for successful implementations while working in a rapidly growing startup environment that's introducing new approaches to services delivery. The ideal candidate is a technologist first with deep knowledge of IT monitoring tools, DevOps, or SRE practices and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Lead end-to-end implementation processes from design to delivery, including custom integrations, service modeling, and provisioning of users, teams, services, schedules, and escalation policies- Partner with customers to design and build integrations that provide seamless platform implementations and awesome customer experiences- Develop and establish methodologies and repeatable processes to ensure successful implementations every time- Manage multiple simultaneous customer engagements while identifying potential roadblocks and providing thoughtful solutions- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders ranging from DevOps engineers to C-level executives across business and technical backgrounds
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 5+ years of hands-on technical background with primary emphasis on IT Operations or Professional Services delivery- Demonstrated Python and Javascript experience, especially within AWS Lambda and automation/scripting contexts- Knowledge and ability to interact with common SaaS and traditional software APIs (REST, SOAP, WS), webhooks for integration development- Hands-on technical background using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IAM)-Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Australia on a full-time basis.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Deep technical knowledge with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy (ServiceNow Admin, Scripting, GScript/Rhino, Studio)- Knowledge of infrastructure as code and DevOps SRE toolchains (GitHub, Terraform, Chef, Artifactory, JFrog, Nomad, Consul, Vault)- Understanding of monitoring systems (DataDog, Dynatrace, Nagios, New Relic, Splunk, Zabbix)- Advanced scripting abilities (Python, Javascript, Go, Ruby, Perl) and fundamental knowledge of Linux

**What the Program Includes**
+ 6-month intensive training program based out of our Brisbane CBD Office, including:
+ Structured learning and coursework
+ Coaching with a balanced approach to technical and professional development in customer support
+ On-the-job learning while contributing to technical projects
+ Visits to customer sites
+ Transition to a FIFO, DIDO or Shift Roster on the successful completion of the training program to continue development through on-the-job learning, including:
+ On-site mentorship and support from our Technology Operations Team
+ Support MineStar® Command for Hauling software and hardware suite, including maximising performance and optimising the use of MineStar® Office (Caterpillar application used to manage and control autonomous fleets).
+ Measure, benchmark and report on MineStar® Command System performance, and suggest opportunities for improvements.
+ Become a trusted advisor for the customer, through clos30e collaboration both internally and externally.
+ Maintain safe performance of the system.

This role's roster will align to that of our customers and may adjust based on which project you are currently focused on.
**What We're Looking For**
Required skills and qualifications:
+ Must have an advanced level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
+ Manual Driver's license or willing to obtain one
Top candidates will also have:
+ A keen interest in the Mining or Technology Support industry
+ Prior internship experience in similar or related field
+ Aptitude to troubleshoot mechanical, electronic or software systems
+ Analytical skills to interpret and understand data
+ Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a complex team
+ Familiar and comfortable with Shift and FIFO/DIDO Roster schedules

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years in consulting experience working with Data and AI/ML Solutions
- 5+ years in developing long-term strategies around product / solution roadmaps with execution programs to deliver on envisioned strategy
- Recent and demonstrable hands-on experience with AI/ML workloads.
- Ability to create compelling customer proposals and executive-level presentation skills

What you will do:
  • Day-to-day responsibilities are split between:
  • Face-to-face therapy sessions (or telehealth where necessary)
  • Planning for therapy sessions
  • Documentation (case notes) of therapy sessions, phone calls and meetings
