We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Embedded Software V&V Engineer to join our Vehicle Motion Control team. You will be responsible for the black box testing and validation of cutting‑edge embedded software for automotive closed‑loop systems.
This is a permanent full‑time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton , which may involve occasional domestic and international travel.

Key Accountabilities include:
- Analysing system and software requirements to develop comprehensive and robust test specifications.
- Design, develop, and execute black box tests for embedded software on closed‑loop HIL systems .
- Ensuring validation activities align with the software development lifecycle, particularly within the V‑model framework .
- Evaluating test results, identify software defects, and collaborate with the development team to ensure precise defect recording and resolution.
- Proactively investigate, diagnose, and correct faults within the HIL test environment to ensure accurate system behaviour and simulation integrity.
- Design and develop automation solutions and scripts to continuously improve test execution efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate test execution activities with local and global teams to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Provide technical leadership and training on software testing processes and best practices.

To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:
- An Engineering Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Computer systems, Software or equivalent qualification.
