Based in our Perth office, our Rehabilitation Team are leading experts in their field, comprising of environmental scientists and restoration ecologists. **Day to day tasks would involve:**
* Deliver large-scale rehabilitation projects for clients in the mining and oil and gas sectors.
* Participate in field surveys with multiple teams in a range of remote and diverse environments across Australia.
* Strengthen client relationships through consistent communication and service excellence.
* Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts.
* Support the development and coordination of tailored proposals, budgets, and tender documents.
* Analyse ecological data and assist in the preparation of clear, concise technical reports.

* Broaden your expertise across disciplines such as terrestrial, aquatic and marine ecology, mine closure, remote sensing, and environmental approvals.
**To be successful in the role you'll need:**
* Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
* At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
* Experience in rehabilitation planning, restoration ecology or ecological monitoring and surveying.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including highly developed technical reporting skills.
* Full working rights in Australia and a current C class manual driver's licence.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a valued senior clinical nursing practice leader at WMH who consults within the inpatient unit and across the WMH campus as required. The CNC works closely with and is well supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, other Senior Nurse roles and WMH Executive.
The CNC position supports the provision of excellence in nursing care within both the inpatient area and transitional aged care team, with a person-centred care and MDT collaboration focus. This role is a key member of the Senior Nurse Leadership team on the ward, engaging directly with the nursing workforce and also across the campus generally. The CNC acts as an expert professional resource in the field of aged rehabilitation nursing and proactively identifies opportunities for best and next practice.
The role supports the inpatient and TACP nursing teams within the framework of the Australian Rehabilitation Nurse’s Association (ARNA) competencies alongside the locally adapted WMH Aged Rehabilitation Nursing competencies. The CNC plays an active part in reviewing and documenting relevant policies, whilst ensuring a platform of clinical excellence are very much the remit of this position.
The CNC represents on various hospital committees, leading quality related initiatives and forums, whilst engaging research opportunities to support contemporary practice. The successful applicant will be required to maintain a high level of communication internally with staff, patients and carers as well as external to the organisation inclusive of SESLHD, tertiary education facilities and Uniting.
This position is a full time permanent role. Uniting is a not-for-profit organisation with competitive salary packaging.
All Category A NSW Health workers are required to have received an annual seasonal Influenza vaccination or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. COVID-19 vaccinations are strongly recommended for all NSW Health workers.
Selection Criteria
Qualifications:
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse who has at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience and at least 3 years experience in Aged/Rehabilitation or related specialty.
- Appropriate post graduate qualifications, working towards same or commitment to commence approved post graduate qualification within 12 months.

- Proven clinical leadership and critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to deliver and evaluate quality patient care
- Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development of self and others
- Demonstrated involvement in quality improvement and evidence-based practice development, with ability to lead project and improvement initiatives.
