+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbines and site infrastructure
+ Follow GE manuals, specifications, and work instructions to perform assigned tasks and inspections
+ Conduct maintenance, fault finding, and high voltage switching operations as required
+ Participate in annual maintenance, retrofit works, major component exchanges, and fault finding
+ Use GE software tools to maintain reports and submit technical queries
+ Ensure compliance with JSA, LOTO, EHS policies, and report issues promptly
+ Make a conformance or non-conformance decision upon completion of inspections
+ Report errors, violations, incidents, or problems immediately using GE reporting systems
+ Embrace a 37.5-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime as approved and participate in on-call rosters for after-hours or weekend work as directed
**Qualifications, Requirements & Competencies**
+ Qualified Electrician or a qualified Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter with electrical aptitude

**Job Description**
**About the Role**
As a Field Service Technician with GE Vernova, you'll be working at the forefront of renewable energy, maintaining and troubleshooting wind turbines at some of the most exciting and innovative sites in the country. No two days are the same, you'll be climbing turbines, solving real-world technical challenges, and helping to keep Australia's wind power turning. We're currently looking for team members at the following wind farms _(Please note: This is not a FIFO role, and you will need to be based locally)._

We welcome applicants from both electrical and mechanical trade backgrounds. If you hold a recognised electrical or mechanical qualification, we will provide you with all the specialist training required to work safely and effectively on our world-class wind turbine technology. You'll be supported with structured onboarding, technical training, and ongoing development to ensure you can perform with confidence in the field.
