The Role

Skills & Experience



Current RSA certification and food handling certificate

A minimum 1.5 years in a management role of a high-volume Food & Beverage operation with demonstrated career progression and an understanding of events & the inbound tourist market

A passion for great service, food, wine, cocktails, and beverages

Proven track record of success in a customer service environment

Outstanding communication skills with high attention to detail

Excellent time keeping skills with the ability to deal with quick turnaround and large group bookings

Ability to work under pressure and work well in a team environment

JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is looking for enthusiastic **Food & Beverage Attendant** to join our fantastic F&B team at the Citrique Seafood Restaurant on a **part time basis.**

**Critical responsibilities:**
+ Ensure efficient, friendly and professional service is provided to all guests
+ Warmly welcome & serve our guests
+ Be an expert on the hotel, know it inside and out to ensure our guests receive a dynamic service experience
+ Meet & connect with our guests and give them an experience beyond their expectations
+ Assisting all guests with menu, dietary requirements and recommendations
+ Ensuring accuracy with requests, orders and service delivery
+ Use of Infrasys system
+ Ensuring all service areas are immaculate
+ Maintaining standards of hygiene and food handling
+ Promoting safety and support WHS practices
**Successful Candidates will have:**
+ Previous experience in food & beverage service, ideally in a hotel environment
+ Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA)
+ Has a positive, can-do attitude
+ Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
+ Barista skills advantageous
+ Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays

We're now seeking a passionate and experienced **Food & Beverage Supervisor** to support the Shiki team in delivering exceptional, theatre-style dining with elegance, efficiency, and flair.
Your Day-to-Day
+ **Supervise the restaurant during service** , ensuring a premium guest experience aligned with InterContinental's luxury standards.
+ **Support and guide team members** during shifts, making sure they follow service and grooming standards.
+ **Coordinate daily operational tasts,** including section set-up, cleanliness, teppanyaki grill readiness, and beverage service preparation.
+ **Manage roster** adjustments and shift coverage in real-time to support efficient service delivery.
+ **Look after stock and supplies** - place orders, help with stock counts, and fix any stock issues.
+ **Interact professionally** with guests, offering warm, attentive service and resolving issues in a timely manner.
+ **Deliver training and mentorship** to new and current team members, focusing on refined service techniques and product knowledge.
+ **Host pre-shift briefings** to energize and inform the team.
+ **Follow all safety and health rules** , and make sure the team works safely too.
+ **Collaborate** effectively with the kitchen team and other departments to support seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
What We Need From You
+ Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior Food & Beverage or supervisory role, ideally within a premium dining environment.
+ Knowledge of Sake, spirits and wine highly regarded
+ A confident leader with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of responsibility.
+ Ability to maintain high service standards in a dynamic, guest-facing environment.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong guest-first mindset.
+ Knowledge of stock and inventory control systems is beneficial.
+ Sound understanding of health & safety compliance.
+ Impeccable personal presentation and a commitment to reliability.
