**The Opportunity**
We're on the lookout for a Sales Manager to join our venue team in Gold Coast. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a strong relationship exists between our onsite team and venue management as well as generating profitable revenue within the applicable venues. If you're passionate about events and looking for career progression in the Audio Visual and Events industry, then we want to hear from you!
**Responsibilities**
+ Build and maintain relationship with venue, brand and clients to ensure successful client relations and smooth running of all events.
+ Educate and advise clients and venue staff alike on the most appropriate audio-visual equipment and the necessary crew to best meet their presentation needs and budget.
+ Work with the venue to identify new business opportunities and develop a strategic approach to win business.
+ Maximise profitable revenue to achieve financial targets.
+ To understand and work within parameters of agreed KPI's for the venue.
+ To constantly communicate with the venue team to ensure they understand the business' direction and objectives.

+ Proven experience in event sales

About the Role: 
The Conference & Events Executive assists the C&E Manager in achieving the departmental occupancy/yield results by ensuring all practices and procedures within the department are implemented and monitored.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director of Sales to monitor progress towards sales goals and adjust actions as necessary.
  • Participate actively in weekly Business on the Books meetings and provide thorough updates on all leads.
  • Prospect and engage potential C&E clients under the guidance of the Director of Sales, including warm calls and networking.
  • Plan approaches, develop proposals, participate in pricing, and handle objections to convert leads and grow business.
  • Present new products and services, enhance client relationships, and participate in internal and external debriefs.
  • Submit weekly progress reports, maintain accurate sales data, contribute to forecasts, and track activity on accounts.
  • Liaise with the Director of Sales and other departments to ensure effective communication and approval of major quotes.
  • Assist with administrative tasks including preparing quotes, issuing contracts, database management, filing, and maintaining records in Ivvy.
  • Ensure client requests are responded to within 24 hours and special requirements are met.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to plan, pitch, and close deals effectively.
  • Proficiency in sales databases, CRM platforms (Ivvy preferred), and accurate record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and liaise effectively across departments.

Join our team as a Territory Manager within our Orthopaedic Instruments division, covering Brisbane South and the Gold Coast.

As a Territory Manager, you will take full ownership of your territory, managing and growing our Orthopaedic Instruments portfolio across Brisbane South and the Gold Coast. You'll work closely with surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff to deliver solutions that enhance surgical precision and improve patient outcomes.
