Lead a team of Security Officers at a premium corporate site, ensuring smooth operations and high performance across your designated site. As the key link to State Operations Management, you’ll oversee administration, training records, and reporting. Set the standard in security leadership, acting as the first point of contact while safeguarding people and property to maintain a safe and secure environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership & Team Management

The AWS Data Centre Communities organization manages the data centre facilities and equipment that power Amazon Web Services. Safety of our employees, the security of our customers' data, and the flawless operations of our infrastructure are our top priorities.
We are looking for a Facility Security Manager for our cloud infrastructure in Australia. We need someone with experience managing security of large critical installations, ideally data centres; and who can set strategy, manage budgets, lead projects, and drive improvements in our security practices and operations.
Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical, industrial, counterintelligence, and media management.
- Create, implement, communicate, and manage security requirements at a large, government accredited sites, while providing day-to-day multi-discipline program security operations support.
- Draft and review security documentation to include transportation plans, procedures, and CONOPs.
- Proactively identify program and physical security requirements, problems, and sound solutions to successfully sustain and enhance the security of program execution.
- Perform and/or support the operations and maintenance of security hardware and systems employed onsite to meet government and AWS requirements.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with internal (operations staff, engineers, teammates, etc.) and external (vendors, contractors etc.) partners to heighten security awareness and engagement.
- Direct and manage onsite security forces to run daily security operations.
- Manage the classified material program to ensure procedures are developed and operated in accordance with internal and customer security policies and practices.
- Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction of performance metrics.
- Must be willing to share on-call rotations in support of alarms, security incidents, escalations and critical service outages.
- Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large scale event response when needed.
- Participate in re-occurring security audits and reviews.
- Executes established compliance processes with AWS policies, standards, guidelines and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the security P&L for assigned site(s), assist management with financial analysis and contribute to financial decisions for security requirements.

We are looking for an experience Risk Management Lead to head the risk function within the Project Controls team on a critical infrastructure program as part of a nationally signficant endeavour. This role is responsible for leading quantitative risk assessments (QRA), scenario modelling, and ensuring the integrity of all risk inputs and outputs.

As The Risk Management Lead, You Will

As a key member of the Risk Management team your role will be to ensure the protection of Coates assets from potential threats. This role will suit an individual with a legal, accounting or internal audit background.

The responsibilities of the Risk Management Specialist will be to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could potentially impact an organization’s operations and reputation. The Risk Management Specialist will design, implement and manage the policies, procedures and monitoring to ensure potential threats are mitigated and managed.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and implement risk management frameworks and processes to identify potential risks across various aspects of the organization, including financial, operational, strategic, security and compliance risks.

• Evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks.

• Develop and recommend strategies to manage or mitigate identified risks.

• Design, implement and maintain risk management policies and procedures that are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Especially security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the organization's information assets are adequately protected (including any 3rd parties that access the organizations systems).

• Monitor the effectiveness of risk management strategies including conducting regular risk audits and compliance checks to uncover vulnerabilities, including security audits to ensure compliance with ISO 27001.

• Develop and maintaining crisis and incident response plans, leading incident response efforts, conducting post-incident analysis to evaluate the response and improve future risk management strategies. Continuously monitor risk factors and emerging threats.

• Ensure that there is an effective Contract and Regulatory compliance monitoring process in place to ensure that contractual commitments and external regulatory requirements are complied with.

• Ensure that there is an effective security Incident Monitoring process in place to monitor security events and alerts to detect and respond to potential security threats in real-time.

• Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management and the board of directors.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Management Professional - CRMP, Certified Risk Manager – CRM, CISSP, CISM, CISA) and understanding of ISO 27001, ITIL, CobiT are advantageous.

• Proven experience in risk management, including IT security or a related field. Experience in a managerial role is often preferred.

• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies

• A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies and related security frameworks, standards and regulations (e.g. NIST, ISO, GDPR).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex risk scenarios, make informed decisions and ability to develop creative solutions to mitigate risks and handle crises

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex risk-related and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in project management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in implementing risk management initiatives and projects.

• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Strong ethics and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information and systems.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. A day in the life
You will be involved in the security design process across many AWS sites. Preparing a build of materials to secure funding for your projects. You will plan in advance to meet critical milestones that if missed will impact other functions of the wider project. You will execute and monitor the risks of your project closely as you work towards the handover to the operations teams. Keeping accurate records are all part of the role and form the final phase of the project.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvement
- Good to have Lenel or similar experience
