Basic Qualifications

Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance
+ Ensure compliance with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).
+ Develop, maintain, and enforce local ICT security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system usage guidelines.
+ Assist with the preparation and management of security authorisation packages, including System Security Plans (SSP), risk assessments, and system security assessments.
Technical Security Oversight
+ Monitor system configurations, oversee vulnerability management across the organisation

The Loss Prevention Expert (LPE) is a key leadership position within the Amazon Loss Prevention (LP) Team. Key job responsibilities
* Engage, coach, train, and influence business partners to be an extension of Loss Prevention by equipping them with knowledge to identify leading indicators of Loss Prevention risk and educate them on the appropriate escalation path. * You are the subject matter expert for all internal and external partners. We need someone with experience managing security of large critical installations, ideally data centres; and who can set strategy, manage budgets, lead projects, and drive improvements in our security practices and operations.
You'll be responsible for oversight of uniformed security officers, and management of the day-to-day security operations. You'll be responsible for working with our customers and Amazon teams to develop new processes, deploy new technology, and continuously improve security of our operations. You'll be responsible for developing, tracking, and driving our key security metrics, including program reviews and testing our security controls. You'll oversee the work of vendors, contractors, and Amazon employees, to ensure our security requirements are met. As a leader in private cloud security, you will engage with senior leadership across AWS and our customers, including writing and presenting documents on your ideas, operational procedures, and results.
Key job responsibilities
This role requires the ability to adapt to a dynamic operational environment, driven by changing customer requirements, build schedule changes, security vendor commitments, and evolving security threats. The incumbent must be able to work at pace and adjusting priorities, while relying on established knowledge and experience in the cleared security space. Must have the ability to interact with customers and meet short notice customer driven deadlines.
- Responsible for providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical, industrial, counterintelligence, and media management.
- Create, implement, communicate, and manage security requirements at a large, government accredited sites, while providing day-to-day multi-discipline program security operations support.
- Draft and review security documentation to include transportation plans, procedures, and CONOPs.
- Proactively identify program and physical security requirements, problems, and sound solutions to successfully sustain and enhance the security of program execution.
- Perform and/or support the operations and maintenance of security hardware and systems employed onsite to meet government and AWS requirements.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with internal (operations staff, engineers, teammates, etc.) and external (vendors, contractors etc.) partners to heighten security awareness and engagement.
- Direct and manage onsite security forces to run daily security operations.

AWS's Data Center Operations Physical Security team is looking for a forward-thinking, results-oriented, innovative and inspirational leader with proven results building high performing teams. The Regional Security Manager will have the ability to develop strategy, execute and lead data center (DC) security operations across multiple sites.
As a Regional Security Manager, you will be expected to implement and verify compliance with security procedures, standards, and policies; while optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of physical security at our facilities. You will champion new initiatives for the physical security team and oversee implementation in coordination with multiple business partner teams.
The Regional Security Manager will have experience leading cross-functional teams, writing security strategies, driving processes to achieve industry-leading security and driving down costs through process improvement and technology enhancement. - Build trust, establish and maintain customer relationship with data center business partners to execute a comprehensive strategy that enhances security, while enabling our partners to build customer capacity.
- Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans and security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Incident Management, while coordinating site investigations with the Global Intelligence and Investigative team.
- Maintains an extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology, and updates management on risk and threats against AWS employees and infrastructure.
- Responsible for performing continual risk analysis for the data center sites, particularly with respect to level of crime, terrorism, workplace violence, and threats from natural and man-made disasters.
- Responsible for providing leadership and best practices on security policy and practices to on-site data center management.
- Looks around corners and identifies vulnerabilities early and designs and implements a strategy to close existing or emerging security gaps and seams.
- Provides leadership and clear guidance and direction to AWS Datacenter staff as well as contract security staff to achieve current and long-range strategic security program objectives.
