The AWS Personnel Security (PerSec) team is responsible managing security clearance and vetting activities for AWS employees supporting programs, including continual assessments on suitability. We are looking for an experienced Principal Security Engineer to join the Security team in Australia. You will be on a team responsible for conducting both pre and post launch testing, offensive campaigns, emergent threat testing, creating/maintaining automated threat emulation solutions, and helping security and service teams add offensive insight to their development, deployment, monitoring, and response processes. This team partners with the larger Security organization and Service teams to continuously validate security throughout the service/system lifecycle.
You will be an expert across multiple domains such as cyber security; threat, vulnerability and risk assessments (TVRA), security tools (e.g. Splunk, Crowstrike, etc.), application of security frameworks (e.g. ISM, NIST, etc.) and/or implementation and monitoring of cyber security controls (i.e. detection, protection, alerting, etc.) and will be sought out for advice on a range of technical and business related issues. Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Physical Security is seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Program Manager to join our team. AWS is the leading cloud provider, providing virtualized infrastructure, storage, networking, messaging, and many other services to customers all over the world. The role is responsible for overseeing physical security design and the installation of security features and systems including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Camera Surveillance, Passive and Active Barriers, and other security features and capabilities consistent with AWS security standards and public sector contract requirements. This role will perform security program management in support of new data centers, support facilities, data center expansions, and special security programs and projects.
You will be an individual contributor on a three-builder team and will work directly with the Cluster Security Managers (CSMs), the Data Center Engineering Operations Team, and other customers, both internal and external, to integrate business and operations requirements into long-term physical security design and implementation. You will work with limited guidance to support the design and deployment of physical security packages and security program enhancements for AWS data centers and supporting facilities. Additionally, you will work across multiple teams and serve as the subject matter expert to author security design, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), security installation and sustainment contracts, and other security documents for submittals. You will lead projects and develop short-term solutions in the physical security program. You may influence and manage vendor contracts to ensure industry leading systems are deployed and sustained.
The ideal candidate for the role has a deep understanding of Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) physical security requirements and leverages that expertise to make the right decisions for physical security projects and site sustainment. The candidate will handle a difficult security problems and compliance program elements clearing blockers and escalating appropriately when unable to clear the blocker. The candidate will be comfortable identifying risks and asking the right question to the appropriate team to identify tradeoffs and suggesting recommendations and solutions. Additionally, the candidate will work across multiple teams within an Amazon Security organization to influence both internal and external customers, system owners, and business leaders. **Job Description**
Do you have a passion for application security and working on one of the most important security challenges of current software development? We are looking for a Security Analyst with experience of using static analyzers. As a Security Analyst, you will work collaboratively with other engineers in the Security Tools engineering team to extend and support an in-house static application security testing tool. About the role
In this role of a Security Analyst you will be conducting and documenting a highly complex information security risk assessments, developing and implementing security processes. As a member of the Software Assurance central services team you will be responsible for the configuration and deployment of SAST tools, as well as reviewing and reporting vulnerability reports issued by SAST and SCA tooling. Upon finding vulnerabilities you will be required to deep dive into each of them individually, performing further analysis, in order to avoid false positives and ensure high accuracy of findings. You will be responsible for planning, developing processes, documenting them while interacting with a variety of teams across our Software Assurance organisation, train staff, and be the go-to person for such security processes. You foster the collaborative atmosphere to enable buy-in into security processes and cross-team collaboration. You are ambitious, yet humble - you realise there are always opportunities for improvement, you take on feedback from team members and introspect to raise the bar for yourself and your organization. You are comfortable with ambiguity.
