Responsibilities and duties :
- Assisting in the creation and implementation of policies related to budgeting and accounting frameworks.
- Preparing financial statements for review by boards of directors, executive management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Performing financial reviews and audits, drafting comprehensive reports, and advising on key financial decisions, including business acquisitions, mergers, financing options, fraud investigations, insolvency matters, and tax planning.
- Reviewing operational expenses alongside revenue and expenditures to analyse organisational financial performance.
- Ensuring the accuracy and statutory compliance of data presented in financial statements
- Advising on financial strategies, tax implications, and business structuring to support operational goals.
- Completing tax returns for both individuals and corporate entities.
- Working with banks and financial intermediaries to establish and manage funding and investment arrangements.
- Setting up and maintaining accounting systems, including recommendations for computer-based accounting solutions.
- Overseeing internal control measures to safeguard financial integrity.
- Conducting assessments of cash flow and evaluating financial risks associated with capital investments when required.

+ Strong IT skills and experience using Power BI and digital applications an advantage.
+ experience with a large ERP system.
