We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager with strong blend of technical sourcing expertise and commercial acumen, ensuring that procurement strategies are not only aligned with business needs but also deliver value through well-structured contracts. You will apply this approach across multiple categories, including technology, professional services, operations, and indirect spend, ensuring procurement strategies align with business objectives and enterprise goals. Responsibilities:
+ Develop and establish Category plans to execute right-sized sourcing strategies tailored to specific procurement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategies, goals, category complexities, and market conditions.
+ Execute the end-to-end source to contract process, including market analysis, supplier engagement, RFI/P development, bid evaluation, negotiation and contracting
+ Lead commercial negotiations whilst maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards
+ Provide best in class commercial advice in relation to vendor engagements and related strategy decisions, with a critical focus on analysing risk elements and total cost of ownership
+ Deliver sustainable and diverse Procurement through our supply chain
+ Contribute to the development of the annual sourcing plan through spend data analysis and work with cross functional teams and stakeholders to identify value add and cost savings opportunities.
+ Contribute to the optimisation of procurement processes and systems to improve speed, scale, user experience and resilience
+ Ensure risk management is top of mind when conducting activities
+ Contribute to the development of a high performing sourcing team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
+ Well-versed in Strategic Sourcing methodologies, Annual Category Planning and Supplier Relationship Management to drive commercial value and operational efficiency
+ Results-oriented and self-motivated with an enterprise mindset and strong commercial acumen
+ Demonstrated competencies to translate business and procurement requirements into commercially sound contractual outcomes, with strong knowledge of contract structures, key terms and conditions and commercial risk mitigation
+ Strong ability to work collaboratively within and across teams
+ Excellent presentation and influencing skills
+ Pragmatic approach with multitasking capabilities
+ Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
+ Strong project implementation, coordination and financial analysis skills preferred
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly desirable
+ Previous experience of successfully operating and influencing in a matrix management structure within a global or large corporate environment is desirable
+ Experience in the Financial Sector would be viewed favourably but is not essential as proven strategic sourcing experience, preferably Technology, Corporate Services or similar spend categories is also a good fit
+ Experience in delivering supply chain diversity would be viewed favourably as well as a desire to deliver social change through your profession
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian or New Zealand PR/Citizenship or working rights or who can show they currently have unrestricted work rights in Australia with no limitations.

KBR is seeking a diligent Procurement Specialist to support our National Security Solutions (NSS), Procurement Department . The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from suppliers in accordance with company policies and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). They will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
+ Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services and supplies
+ Takes responsibility for purchases in support of customer-related business processes or for internal use
+ Discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers, and is responsible for negotiating refunds
+ Coordinates with operations, maintenance, warehouse and engineering to ensure proper scheduling and movement of goods and supplies. Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices
+ Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes
+ May provide guidance to less experienced team members
+ Review and approve supplier invoices with KBR's Accounts Payable Department
+ Provide input to Supplier Performance Evaluations
Required Education & Experience:
+ This position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status due to the sensitivity of customer related information
+ Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience
+ Should have a thorough understanding of FAR, DFARS and NAICS; commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Government Prime Contractor purchasing
+ Must be organized, detail oriented and demonstrate strong time management skills and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with general supervision in a fast-paced environment
+ Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shifting priorities
+ Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships with peers, suppliers, and customers, and contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, teamwork, and a positive attitude

- Develop deep knowledge of non-inventory items and align with like buildings to drive best practices
- Manage KPI to measure, control and benchmark procurement processes including creation of recurring metrics reports to drive improvements for the Operations network
- Develop relationship across the building and network to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented
- Measure actual vs planned savings; as savings trends are identified, own action plans to meet goals and develop solutions
- Work in partnership both internally and with suppliers to develop innovative solutions to provide Procurement support to the Operations teams
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
