**Position Summary**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operational Buyer to join our Logistics team. Your main purpose will be to create an optimised replenishment plan for raw and packaging materials over an 18 month horizon that ensures supply of material to production whilst ensuring that the working capital targets for raw and packaging materials are met.
**A day in the Life**
This is a site-based role, working Monday to Friday and reporting to the Gympie Factory Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
+ Ensuring the timely supply of Raw & Pack Materials to meet Production requirements
+ Monitoring supply signals through the use of MRP purchase requisitions ensuring delivery dates, lead times and required quantities are correct and finally creating purchase orders and ensuring their fulfillment by the supplier.
+ Managing the defined supplier the delivery of materials: this includes creating, sending, confirming, receiving, investigating errors and discrepancies on blocked or parked invoice lines and handling all exception
+ Material and Specifications - Work together with Oceania Purchasing, Factory Logistics and Applications to approve new supply lines
+ Material Workflow management - manage all workflow to meet best practice
+ Purchasing Policies and Procedures - Ensure full implementation and Compliance with relevant policies, procedures and Internal controls
+ Document control - develop & maintain relevant OMS documents. Ensure reviews are conducted and all changes to documentation are promptly implemented

+ Joining a collaborative team, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
+ You will have minimum 2 or more years' operations experience in similar role ideally within the FMCG industry.
+ Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
+ Advanced SAP systems experience will be highly desirable.
+ Solution focused and pro-active attitude and high attention to detail.
+ Clear and effective communication skills are essential.
+ Experience in stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
+ The right person must be proactive, thorough, and detailed, with a high level of relationship building.

Responsibilities:
+ Develop and establish Category plans to execute right-sized sourcing strategies tailored to specific procurement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategies, goals, category complexities, and market conditions.
+ Execute the end-to-end source to contract process, including market analysis, supplier engagement, RFI/P development, bid evaluation, negotiation and contracting
+ Lead commercial negotiations whilst maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards
+ Provide best in class commercial advice in relation to vendor engagements and related strategy decisions, with a critical focus on analysing risk elements and total cost of ownership
+ Deliver sustainable and diverse Procurement through our supply chain
+ Contribute to the development of the annual sourcing plan through spend data analysis and work with cross functional teams and stakeholders to identify value add and cost savings opportunities.
+ Contribute to the optimisation of procurement processes and systems to improve speed, scale, user experience and resilience
+ Ensure risk management is top of mind when conducting activities
+ Contribute to the development of a high performing sourcing team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
+ Well-versed in Strategic Sourcing methodologies, Annual Category Planning and Supplier Relationship Management to drive commercial value and operational efficiency
+ Results-oriented and self-motivated with an enterprise mindset and strong commercial acumen
+ Demonstrated competencies to translate business and procurement requirements into commercially sound contractual outcomes, with strong knowledge of contract structures, key terms and conditions and commercial risk mitigation
