Job Description
As the Refrigeration Mechanic/HVAC Technician you will perform maintenance and repair to equipment associated with the HVAC infrastructure at OASIS. This includes, but is not limited to, maintenance of large chillers, DX refrigeration equipment, chilled water-cooling systems, residential air conditioning systems and the air conditioning systems of its vehicle fleet. Scope of work will range from minor and major repairs, servicing and where necessary replacement of equipment.
**_Applicants must be an USA citizen who have a TS/SCI or Australian Citizen who can obtain the appropriate level of security clearance._**
**Responsibilities/Duties**
1. Performing maintenance tasks as required. Scheduled or repairs.
2. Performing tasks for project type work as required on an ad hoc basis.
3. Planning of tools, equipment, assistance and materials needed to complete tasks.
4. Liaising with others to notify and organize tasks to be undertaken as required.
5. Ensuring as much as is possible that equipment is maintained to operate in a safe manner.
6. Reporting any incidents via chain of command to Management as a priority
7. Use of computer systems to record and plan work tasks.
8. Assisting in all areas of Facilities Maintenance from as required. Not limited to HV switching, cleaning of mechanical spaces and shops.
9. Ensure compliance with all site's environmental health and safety requirements.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
Personnel are required to be medically fit to work and safely complete all physical tasks associated with the role in which they are employed. **SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT**
It is a condition of employment at JDFPG that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role.
