You are a key driver in the development, delivery and maintenance of site training systems. You will ensure:

**What you will bring:**
You will bring experience in coordination of training programs and be comfortable in a manufacturing environment. You will be comfortable in gaining an Indepth knowledge of on-the-job requirements and be willing to take on the operator role at the end of a 24-month period. You will also bring:
+ Cert IV in Training & Assessing - mandatory
+ Experience with digital learning tools and project delivery - mandatory
+ Proven experience (3-5 years) in learning and development, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment
+ Machine operations, TPM-Total Productive Maintenance Tools
+ Safety and quality standards for operating machinery
+ Reading and writing and fluently conversant in the language of communication as appropriate to the site
+ Collaborating well in a diverse work environment and excellent communication skills
The training coordinator is an initial 24-month opportunity for day shift role, which may require the successful candidate to move into a production role per business needs.
The successful candidate must hold a Cert IV in Training & Assessing.

The Training Business Development Manager - Technical (BDM) is accountable for the development of Training Services revenue with National Security Customers. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background that enables them to help drive engagement at both the user and CXO level. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills to skillfully create, and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS Training.
To be successful in this position, you must be a self-starter who is prepared to Think Big and Dive Deep. The BDM will create and nurture relationships with sales and partner development teams helping them drive training business. The mainframe underpins the world-economy, and the global mainframe footprint is growing exponentially, year after year. This is a niche opportunity to learn about this platform, working alongside a collaborative cohort of experts in the industry, and to gain hands-on experience with enterprise software used by some of the world's biggest companies.
Successful applicants will join our NextGen Academy for a six-month training program. This is an extraordinary opportunity to obtain mainframe training, while you get paid!
Throughout the six-month program, you'll receive structured technical training, and work on real-world projects, and be mentored by expert-level engineers.
Upon successful completion of the program, you may be offered a full-time role in one of our engineering teams, for example as a software engineer or a quality assurance engineer.
Our Perth NextGen Academy kicks off in February 2026. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity at our new software development lab on the Swan River in Elizabeth Quay, Perth.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Participate in a paid, immersive training program that covers software engineering, operating systems, quality assurance and enterprise technologies
+ Learn core programming languages and tools used in large-scale software systems
+ Build your understanding of the IBM zOS enterprise operating system
+ Complete individual and team assignments to solve real-world business problems
+ Learn professional software practices including Agile methodology, DevOps principles and secure development
+ Collaborate with teammates across departments and geographies
+ Receive ongoing mentoring, feedback, and learning opportunities throughout the 6-month Academy
**Who You Are:**
+ Permanent resident or citizen of Australia
+ Computer Science degree, or equivalent
+ Recent graduate, or writing your final exams at the end of 2025
+ Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript)
+ Passionate about coding and/testing, as evident by previous participation in internships, bootcamps, academic work, or personal projects (e.g., coding at home, building apps, contributing to GitHub)
+ Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn about systems, networks, and software engineering
+ A keen interest in low-level programming
+ A collaborative team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
**Nice to Have (but not required):**
+ System Programming familiarity, gained through either experience or study
+ Mainframe-related knowledge, evident by IBM training badges obtained (for example IBM z Xplore - available free of charge)
+ Passionate about AI, with exposure gained through formal (e.g. study), or informal (e.g. personal interest) pathways
+ Assembler programming knowledge
+ Familiarity with relational databases (SQL, Db2, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
+ Awareness of enterprise systems, cybersecurity, or networking basics
+ Familiarity with writing automated tests, especially using Python
+ Participation in coding competitions, tech meetups, or open-source contributions

Right now, we are seeking bright and energised **Program Managers** to join our inspired team. In this role, you will contribute to the critical outcomes of the Australian Defence Force by delivering complex, state-of-the-art programs designed to keep Australia safe.

The role, based in Williamtown, NSW, supports RAAF execute advanced test and training exercises across the country.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Day-to-day safety and operations of the program;
+ Accountability for estimating and executing various Projects that deliver safety, security and operational improvements to RAAF Test and Training activities;
+ Provide key communications and stakeholder management within the team;
+ Liaison with Commonwealth Program Offices to ensure that Commonwealth expectations are met;
+ Preparation and management of project, management, and customer reports including review packs, estimates at completion packs, and weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports.
Travel may be required within Australia to fulfil the requirements of this role.
**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
+ Relevant tertiary qualification in either, Program or Business Management, or equivalent experience; with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a defence project management role or relevant experience;
+ Demonstrated competence in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) competencies;
+ Proven ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a high-performance team;
+ Strongly developed interpersonal skills and able to influence stakeholders at an operational level and the ability to develop solutions that meet complex customer requirements;
+ Demonstrated focus on delivering the best possible outcome and attends to all details required to deliver the right solutions at the right time and commitments are met on budget and schedule.
+ Hold or be eligible for an NV-1 security clearance to perform the role
