JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
**This varied and busy role will involve routine and reactive repair as well** as general maintenance of the building and its assets. As part of the Engineering department, you will assist the team that looks after our customers both internal and externally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Carry out assigned tasks, including physical duties such as; lifting and transporting furniture and other equipment, climbing ladders, working in enclosed areas and pushing trolleys.
+ Repair and maintain all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, kitchen and heating systems and associated equipment within the hotel in close co-ordination with the engineering leadership team.
+ Respond to internal job request system (HOSTOS) in a timely manner.
+ Inspect/repair/log plumbing deficiencies in all areas of the hotel.
+ Work from the daily hand over reports which have been assigned by your manager and provide feedback when the work is completed.
+ Check and maintain the efficiency of the hotel's systems, plant and equipment.
+ Inform your manager about equipment deficiencies, relevant stock control and spare parts as necessary.
+ Comply with all systems, procedures and company policies.
+ Be pro-active in developing your individual skills.
+ Be self-motivated and perform to the highest level.
+ Ensure you regularly attend communication meetings held within the department.
+ Ensure planned training is completed.
+ Ensure communication between Engineering and all other areas of the hotel is professional, efficient and thorough.

# Project Overview:
The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.
The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah Riyadh highway.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will plan develop and review design work, produce technical drawings, calculations, specifications and material take-offs for a project's design, procurement and constructability aspects.
You will lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes where you will coordinate with clients, facilitate technical discussions and design reviews, review vendor information, project and client design specifications and collaborating discipline design inputs.
You will will be responsible for solving complex technical issues and ensure designs comply with all regulations and standards and your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure the unique and complex requirements of a project's mechanical aspects are met.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Plans and conducts independent scope of work and technical specifications for Civil/Structural design and field investigations on large size projects or assignments in support of a global business unit.
+ Leads the design, development, modification and evaluation of Civil/Structural components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs).
+ Reviews and approves key design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications, drawings, change orders, and bid summaries for the project to which assigned.

+ Experience with minerals handling process plant design, specifically slurry pumping and handling, conveyor, chute, tank sizing and selection calculations.

An exciting opportunity exists for 2 Maintenance Engineers to join our dynamic Maintenance and Utilities – Maintenance Services Team, working afternoon shift.

The department provides essential engineering and maintenance support services on the CSL Behring Broadmeadows site. You'll also lead and manage a Mechanical trades team.

This is an ongoing role working in our afternoon shift (14:30-22:21)

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Maintenance Services Mechanical & Refrigeration, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide maintenance and engineering solutions to improve plant and equipment reliability
  • Provide leadership and supervision for Mechanical Technicians; manage maintenance activities during facility shutdown periods
  • Ensure preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently
  • Investigate process, plant, and equipment failures, determine the cause of failure, and develop permanent solutions
  • Provide technical advice in Manufacturing facilities on-site
  • Develop close working relationships with personnel in Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, System Owner Group, Planning & Support Group, and Quality.
  • Maintain training and documentation relevant to the mechanical team

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering
  • Experience in a batch manufacturing environment, specifically in filling / packaging / palletising
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position
  • Experience in a GMP environment would be an advantage, but is not essential
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role overseeing contractors or trades
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
