+ Schedule: 4 days on- 2 days/2 nights / 4 days off | 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Shift Data Center Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our critical infrastructure. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a data center operation, ensuring the seamless operation of critical systems. Oversight of electrical and mechanical systems, including but not limited to: Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, generators, chillers, Electrical Distribution, HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS) systems, and CMMS Work Dispatching. This position is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function, focusing on delivering technical maintenance services in high-stakes client environments.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Conduct daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance tasks.
+ Ensure that the site's environmental conditions are conducive to a safe and efficient work environment.
+ Respond promptly to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs as necessary.
+ Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
+ Notify management if subcontractor performance does not meet the requirements outlined in the Master Service Agreement.
+ Execute planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
+ Monitor the Building Management System for running and alarm conditions, addressing HVAC-related client issues.
+ Perform building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities.
+ Address facility and plant faults and defects with effective solutions.
+ Complete assigned work following established processes and procedures, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Conduct routine quality checks to maintain comprehensive maintenance records.
+ Complete all required training to ensure the successful completion of job-related responsibilities.
+ Utilize existing procedures to solve straightforward problems, with limited discretion.

**What You'll Need:**
+ Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, with Victoria License Non restricted
+ Must be a Australian Citizen - NV1 vetting clearance
+ Training in a technical discipline, having completed an apprenticeship or equivalent, with 2-4 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma. Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
+ Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
+ Strong communication skills to effectively present information to internal departments, clients, management, and colleagues.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
+ Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.

+ Reporting to the CBRE Resource Manager , the Shift Technician where the responsibilities include:
+ Responsible for ensuring that maintenance activities within the buildings are being carried out with due regard to Health and Safety, business risk and maintaining the 100% uptime criteria.
+ Responsible for maintaining excellent standards of response to Asset performance, completion of assigned work and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently.
+ Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks as required within and across HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant / equipment and HVAC mechanical cooling / heating systems as determined by the CMMS system's work orders
+ Monitor BMS for running and alarm conditions when required
+ Building walk-rounds, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU's and other electrical equipment to monitor capacity
+ Investigate faults, identify root causes and effect remedies
+ Prepare accurate / timely service/incident reports as required
+ Ensure corrective / repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations
+ Assist when/where required with equipment installation works and asset data capture
+ Participate in emergency call out roster providing cover for weekend and team member absences, as required
+ Develop a comprehensive understanding of the building(s) infrastructure and their layouts, functions and complexities
