**Your New Role and Responsibilities**
Leidos Australia, is seeking an experienced Program Financial Analyst to support program activities including the financial management of multiple IT projects, annual budgets, monthly forecasts, month end closing including accruals, program performance reporting and project profitability analysis.
+ Monthly variance analysis and financial reporting across a range of programs and projects.
+ Compilation and review of budgets using actual performance and previous budget figures.
+ Coordinate multiple financial cost analysis functions, including cost allocation, setting up cost control systems, collecting data, controlling costs and preparing reports that maintain the Company's cost accounting system.
+ Responsible for administration and reporting of overhead budgets, charge codes and cost allocation.
+ Liaison to the business for indirect cost rates, compliance with Cost Principles.
+ Business partnering with delivery and operations personnel to provide financial advice to meet organisational goals.

+ Experience in a global business would be valuable, along with familiarity with systems such as CostPoint or similar and OAC/OBI .
+ An ability to balance competing priorities and meet tight deadlines is essential along with strong relationship skills, a proactive attitude and an ability to quickly learn new system and processes.
+ Strong working knowledge of and skills in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) isessential.
+ Financial management, reporting and governance.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Business Analyst to join our Ticketing Operations team in Melbourne. This newly created role will support the implementation of Victoria's next-generation myki ticketing system, contributing to one of the most significant public transport transformations in the state.

**Key responsibilities**
Reporting to the Head of Operations Technology and working closely with functional leaders and delivery partners, you will:
+ Conduct technical analysis of business and technology processes to define and document current and future states.
+ Collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to develop and maintain system documentation.
+ Facilitate and contribute to technical workshops to support transition planning and identify improvement opportunities.
+ Analyse transition activities to ensure a smooth migration from legacy systems to the new ABT (Account-Based Ticketing) solution.
+ Translate complex technical requirements into practical, actionable outcomes.
+ Provide insights through data analysis to support informed decision-making and program effectiveness.
+ Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables.
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
+ A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related discipline (MBA desirable but not essential).
+ Solid experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or consulting/project delivery role.
+ Demonstrated experience in complex government or technical projects.
+ Proven ability to support technical and business teams through system transitions and operational change.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and innovative approach.
+ Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
+ Broad technical knowledge, including Azure Cloud, Microsoft enterprise tools, and Dynamics 365.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ Experience in creating technical documentation, reports, briefing notes, and process workflows.

+ Experience working on large transformation programs

+ Familiarity with banking operations, clearing systems, and fund transfer mechanisms.
+ Proficiency in requirement documentation and stakeholder communication.
