The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new data-center infrastructure. As part of that team, the Installation Technician will be primarily tasked with installing cabling and new racks within the data-centers. This position has a physical component and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
Key job responsibilities
- Installation and testing of copper and Fiber Optic cabling;
- Basic build and troubleshooting of network devices;
- Adhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures;
- Ability to travel within geographical work area is required.
A day in the life
A normal day involves working inside a data center installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. You will be responsible for running multiple projects at the same time.

Our energy team is growing! We are seeking to speak with Electrical Engineers with Renewable Energy experience, for a position in our Melbourne Team. As part of our high performing Energy team, you will be actively involved in a highly motivated and innovative team of energy professionals. The team is currently delivering a range of projects including owner's engineer, grid connection and project management roles as well as front-end work such as site identification and evaluation, feasibility studies, concept design and grid connection studies associated with future generation and storage projects.
**What will a day in this role look like:**
+ Be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for renewable facilities including wind, solar and battery storage facilities, amongst other emerging technologies.
+ Use your project management experience to oversee projects whilst reviewing and signing off on concept designs for power generation facilities on projects across Victoria.
+ Act as technical leaders for the development of specifications whilst working with Senior Leadership Team with key clients and stakeholders.
+ Act as a part of Owner's Engineer team on projects to ensure the project is delivered according to the clients' requirements. Provide technical advice and use your project management experience to advise on project timelines, schedule, budget, contractor management and risk management.

**What are we looking for from you?**
+ Ideally, candidates will have 3 + years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the renewable energy sector, either owner/client side, or working for a consultancy (preferred) with a track record of project management experience.
+ Electrical Engineering degree with relevant experience, knowledge of Australian standards and projects. RPEV (or ability to obtain) is important given the nature of this role.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
+ Proven knowledge of the major power generation technologies and the major equipment OEM's and plant suppliers.
+ Ideally, candidates will have exposure to HOMER and PVsyst. Experience with windPRO is advantageous, but not essential.

**Job Description**
Due to continued growth in the energy sector, we are expanding our Grid Connections team in Melbourne by hiring a Project Manager to work across development and construction phase of projects (grid-connected and off-grid) in the renewable energy sector, oil & gas, industrial and mining industries.

+ Deliver grid connection and network planning projects, including interconnection studies, reference design, and feasibility assessments for greenfield renewables, energy storage, interconnectors, REZs, and onshore transmission for offshore wind.
+ Lead project delivery in line with the AECOM Project Delivery Framework, acting as Project Director or Approver, and ensuring effective use of resources including time, talent, budget, and materials.
+ Maintain and grow strong client relationships through regular engagement, understanding client needs, and providing responsive, timely, and effective communication.

We are looking for a degree qualified engineer (electrical, or project manager, with ideally 4 + years of experience in a project management or design / engineer role. Demonstrated experience working in hybrid renewable projects within the Australian utility network is highly regarded.

+ Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and management, including close collaboration with project managers, contractors, and clients in diverse and multi-disciplinary project teams.
+ Skilled in bid and proposal development, with a sound understanding of procurement and commercial considerations, and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
