# Project Overview:
Bechtel, a global leader in project management, engineering, procurement and construction, has been selected by Western Sydney Airport Co as its Delivery Partner for the Western Sydney Airport, a $5.3 billion greenfield facility in Badgerys Creek, New South Wales. This will be a landmark project for both New South Wales and Australia and is due for completion at the end of 2026.
Western Sydney Airport will provide much-needed additional aviation capacity to meet growing demand in the Sydney basin and improve access to flights for people in Western Sydney. Bechtel's internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience. Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern.
Our Infrastructure Internship program is open to all undergraduates in supply chain, logistics, business or law. During this time, you'll see how our business works and take on tasks that will give you valuable experience all while having a real impact on our organization. You will be able to work full time for ten weeks over the Summer holiday break commencing 24th November 2025, and ending February 6th 2026.
Interns work in multidisciplinary teams and you will have a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for providing you with a full and busy workload and ensuring we provide you with the best experience possible during your time with us.

**The Role**

Reporting to the ANZ Supply Chain Planning Manager this role will be responsible for the ANZ Supply Planning for designated Operating Units.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Manage key inventory planning functions to provide quality and timely service to internal and external customers.
+ Monitor and improve product availability in conjunction with identifying initiatives to optimise inventory levels.
+ Manage inventory levels through Stock Transfer Orders / purchase orders and ensure stock is received within acceptable time parameters.Manage supply through Medtronic Supply Network.

+ Work with Inventory team to maintain focus on potential inventory obsolescence write off risks.
+ Ensure product managers, sales staff and others receive regular reports on the availability of products to facilitate the distribution to customers.
+ Meet with key business associates (product managers, regulatory associates, marketing & Sales managers, finance and logistics) to review business requirements (IBP) that detail risks, obsolescence, forecast and sales trends, backorders, phase-in/phase-out of product, regulatory requirements and general business.
+ Review and update Enterprise Inventory Optimisation (EIO) targets.
+ Maintain data integrity of system master data to enable the planning system to generate accurate supply chain plans.
+ Ensure the Company's agreed quality standards (including ISO13485) are maintained regarding its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact.
