Bechtel Mining and Metals offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the mining sector across multiple commodities including Iron Ore, Bauxite, Alumina, Aluminium, Copper, Gold, Coal, Lithium and Rare Earths markets.

# Job Summary:
In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to understand the evolutions of the Digital Supply Chain tools. You will consider impacts, risks, and feedback to determine industry best practices, and will update or contribute to the update of governance and guidance, training materials, and Supply Chain work processes. Your insights on end-user adoption will help Program Management ensure Digital Supply Chain tools are meeting requirements.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Delivers updated Supply Chain work processes and procedures relative to execution of Digital Supply Chain and in alignment with overall Supply Chain Governances and instructions
+ Partners with sponsors, managers, leads and project team members to gain an understanding of all aspects of change involved with the Digital Supply Chain (DSC) tools (or other legacy supply chain automation if DSC is not used)
+ Trains project personnel on Digital Supply Chain
+ Tracks status of project deliverables and milestones as it relates to systems configuration, implementation, and work execution
+ Escalates system/tool issues as necessary to the business unit DSC Implementation Manager or DSC Corporate team
+ Creates and updates governance, instructions, training materials, etc. relative to Digital Supply Chain in collaboration with other functional and discipline resources
+ Delivers updated Supply Chain work processes and procedures relative to execution of Digital Supply Chain and in alignment with overall Supply Chain Governances and instructions
+ Provides insight to Program Management Office and other committees regarding status of end user adoption
+ Reports risks and issues that may impact the success of project planning and execution to the appropriate level in the organization
+ Works with both the Supply Chain Project team members and the IS&T Technical team members to communicate priorities of deployment activities, including coordination of production support critical issues

The Logistics Specialist has direct oversight and coordination of external logistics service provider activities and performance across Australia and New Zealand. This role is responsible for executing the logistics plan throughout the external logistics network and providing technical support, including SAP transactional activities that underpin logistics work processes.

Reporting to the International Operations Manager, you'll take on a hands-on export role, supporting key operational processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your adaptability, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset will be essential to your success. We're seeking a proactive and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a business experiencing sustained global growth.
**What you will do**
+ Manage and support end-to-end export operations across our Oceania network
+ Plan and coordinate export shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards
+ Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders including major customers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal teams
+ Prepare and manage export documentation and certification requirements
+ Develop and communicate inventory deployment plan to manufacturing plants, warehouses and 3PL providers
+ Maintain system parameters to align inventory planning with logistics service and cost objectives, factoring in product seasonality, sales segmentation, supply alternatives, logistics constraints and MLOR requirements
+ Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics
+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
**About you**
+ Proven experience in international trade, logistics, planning or a related field
+ Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain, or international business (preferred)
+ Experience in FMCG or food export industries is highly regarded
+ Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change
+ Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
