A fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to join our Marketing team in Sydney. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and initiatives for our innovative Cardiac Surgery solution offering. **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for healthcare, marketing, and innovation. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive environment, gaining valuable skills and insights into the medical technology industry. This is a fixed term 24 month contract based in Sydney and reporting into the Marketing Manager for the CS business.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in preparation and coordination of conferences and trade shows to promote the range of Cardiac Surgery products. Ensuring relevant collateral is available for the event.
+ Positively interact with the Product Managers to align marketing support. Attend and actively contribute to product managers meetings as scheduled
+ Prepare monthly report for the Marketing Manager
+ Assist product managers with all new product launches: including forecasting stock, identify market potential, pricing.
+ Assist Product Managers to create innovative promotional campaigns
+ Assists with the development, monitoring, coordination, and implementation of non-technical projects as assigned
+ Provides numerical analysis, reporting and internal communication services with team members.
+ Develops knowledge of industry and organizational processes
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, Biomedical engineering, Commerce, or Business; have maintained a Credit average
+ Experience with MS Office suite of products, with a high degree in confidence in Excel
+ Ability to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills
+ Having a strong collaborative approach and an ability to work across different teams
+ Positive attitude and willingness to learn
+ Able to manage time effectively; well organised and able to set and reset priorities

An opportunity has become available for a Principal House Officer (General Surgery) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Manage patients in the General Surgery Unit of Gold Coast Health under the supervision of Consultants
Advocate for the patient, including protecting the patient, being the patient’s voice as well as educating the patient
Provide leadership and teaching to the junior members of the department, and supervising rotating junior medical officers
Be involved in research with the aim of completing at least one publication within the 6 month rotation
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent recognised qualification registrable with the Medical Board of Australia is required
AHPRA Registration
The ability to partake in a 7 day per week, 24-hour roster
To be able to work across Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

The Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Chair in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery is a new, joint initiative between Griffith University and the Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH), supported by The Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation. The Foundation has pioneered the inception of Chairs in OHNS to develop internationally recognised Centres of Excellence across Australia and New Zealand.
This Chair position recognises the existing talent and the development opportunity to boost Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) in one of the fastest growing regions and thus a community of increasing and more diverse public health needs.
The Chair will demonstrate clinical expertise in a sub-specialty which is preferably, although not confined to, Rhinology/skull-base surgery, head and neck/ skull-based surgery, and will be expected to achieve international recognition through innovative, and distinguished contributions to the field of OHNS. The Chair’s dual focus will ensure a seamless integration of theoretical knowledge and practical application, benefiting both patients and trainees.
The Chair will also become Director of a new named Centre of Excellence at Griffith. The Centre model, when combined with the partnership of Gold Coast University Hospital, allows the dedicated leadership and support to build an ambitious multi-disciplinary and highly collaborative approach across clinical and academic settings.
We are seeking a leading authority in OHNS, who is expected to provide exceptional, values-led academic leadership by fostering excellence in research, teaching, engagement and professional activities. The position requires extensive clinical experience, with qualifications in OHNS surgery and current APHRA specialist registration (or eligibility for), and a track record of impactful research.
