**Key Responsibilities**
As a Systems Administrator, your role will perform some or all the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:
+ System and Software Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer systems, operating systems, services, and standard company software using customised in-house toolsets; deploy solutions in line with organisational standards and project requirements (e.g., PC Migration Project).
+ User Support and Troubleshooting: Provide deskside support for various applications, Citrix environments, printing and LRS issues; assist with data backup and recovery; carry out troubleshooting and fault remediation activities.
+ Account and Directory Services: Create and maintain various Active Directory (AD) account types, ensuring proper access and user management.
+ Process and Documentation Management: Create, update, and amend process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles to support IT operations and end-user guidance.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with users and key business stakeholders, providing subject matter expertise and resolving technical issues and user requests.
**Qualifications & Experience**
Coupled with your education and/or experience, you have exposure to some of the below tools and methodologies:
+ Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated high-level skill with Microsoft technologies including Windows 10, Office, Teams, Skype for Business, desktop and laptop hardware (HP, Dell), Cisco phones, and iOS mobility solutions.
+ Infrastructure and Systems Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365 (O365), Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and LRS systems.
+ Scripting and Automation: Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
+ Systems Management Tools: Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Ivanti for device and software management.
+ ITIL and Best Practice Frameworks: Solid understanding of ITIL processes and their application within IT service management.

**Your Role**

- Administer BIM Common Data Environments, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (former BIM 360), and other technology solutions.
- Use technology to design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain BIM solutions.
- Produce comprehensive, usable BIM systems documentation.
- Evangelize, educate, and support primary design technology applications.
- Contribute to the development of technical solutions, programs, or scripts that use BIM API and SDK such as Revit and Autodesk Platform Services.
- Coordinate information management, smart object metadata and classification codes with asset information databases.
- Perform BIM data QA/QC and analysis.
- Provide BIM technical support to project teams.
- Assist with establishing and maintaining BIM standards, processes, and workflows across regions.
- Educate and train internal and external teams in BIM software, procedure, and best practices.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional experience administering and implementing BIM programs and systems.
- 5+ years of working with Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- 3+ years of using BIM API and SDKs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or related STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) field.
- Experience working with BIM integrations and third-party APIs like Autodesk Platform Services.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.

Currently we have a Cloud / VMWare Systems Administrator role available that is based on Sydney's Northern Beaches .

This role will see you responsible for managing workloads in VMware, AWS, and Azure.

Initially there will be a Heavy focus on VMWare System Administration and managing VMWare workloads as the company transitions to cloud.

You will require strong VMWare System Administration skills , with a desire to steer your career towards Cloud (AWS & Azure).

You will manage the Data Centre Footprint, SAN Provisioning, Scaling VLAN and Firewalls.

You will work in a Windows Server Environment responsible for PowerShell & Bash scripting.

Later you will migrate two Server Environments to Cloud.

Please Note : This role will work 4 days per week - 10 Hour Days . This includes working one day every weekend per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, administer and support VMWare Infrastructure across multiple datacentre locations including storage, networking, security and identity services
  • Action tickets and alarms using SOPs/Runbooks; identify and document points of failure, escalate and coordinate resolution as required
  • Monitor systems and respond to alerts using tools such as Datadog, New Relic, and Uptime.com to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects (e.g., upgrades, migrations, audit remediation)
  • Support change management processes across the customer lifecycle
  • Interface daily with internal and external support groups
  • Contribute to 24x7 monitoring and incident response, including after-hours rotation

Skills & Experience Required :

  • Strong VMWare System Administration skills,
  • Strong Experience Managing VMWare Workloads and supporting VMWare Infrastructure
  • Minimum 3–4 years’ Experience in a Cloud or Systems Administrator role
  • MSP Experience is a big plus (Not Essential)
  • Experience Managing workloads in VMware, AWS, and Azure environments (Ideal).
  • Experience in Cloud and virtualization monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Backup and recovery management using Veeam and SAN-based snapshot technologies.
  • Experience in Linux and Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Patch Management
  • Experience in Web server technologies (IIS, Nginx) including TLS/SSL certificates, reverse proxies, LB, WAF
  • Experience in Database administration experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, VPNs, NAT, firewalls, and access control.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
