**Job Description Summary**
Responsible for administration, tracking and support activities. The IT Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure at GE Aerospace Australia. This position is responsible for providing server monitoring and reporting on system KPI's, printer management across 6 sites, performing network maintenance across 5 sites, managing new and refresh personal device distribution, manage new mobility requests and mobility management and level 1 help desk support for digital workplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT services.

**Role Overview:**
**Working on site (Brisbane facility) , 5 days a week**
+ Generate Digital Technology Bowler data by monitoring system performance and usage and generate problem reports after identifying issues and areas for improvement.
+ Add, remove and manage approximately 30 printers across 6 sites.
+ Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including monitoring network performance, configuring network devices, and ensuring network security for 5 sites and 7 data circuits across Australia.
+ Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
+ Support data compliance requirements within Australia especially as defined by the Commonwealth of Australia in regard to military data.
+ Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
+ Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and use of IT systems and tools.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures. This includes maintaining Standard Work Documents detailing daily, weekly, and monthly standard work.
+ Contribute to and maintain project management documentation for long term projects and day to day operations including action plans from problem solving reports.
+ Maintain the physical security system access cards for multiple sites across Australia.
+ Provide level 2 help desk support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems in a timely manner for all users across multiple sites within Australia.
+ Manage the setup, deployment, and maintenance of new and refresh equipment such as laptops and desktops and mobile devices for all GE Aerospace users across Australia.
**Required Qualifications** **:**
+ Bachelor's in related field or proven experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Diploma or Certificate 4 in information technology, Computing, or a related field, or extensive and equivalent work experience.
+ Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably within a similar industry.
+ Strong knowledge of network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows desktop and server, MacOS, Android, and iOS operating systems.
+ Experience with IT asset management and inventory control.
+ Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and practices.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
+ Relevant certifications are a plus.
Technical Expertise:
+ Basic knowledge of financial systems, financial close cycles and associated processes
+ Strong Microsoft Office skillset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Understanding of ITIL processes (certification is a plus)
+ Basic understanding of Sarbanes Oxley (SoX)

Who You Are
As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of one or more of the following data systems: Computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
This role will be located in Alice Springs, AUS, and is expected to be 100% onsite.
This role is contingent upon contract award.
What You'll Do
As an IT Security Administrator, you will:
+ Maintain, install, upgrade and configure data systems
+ Administer operating systems and maintain basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups
+ Perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field
+ Display core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills
+ Manage multiple IT vendors to ensure completion of IT projects in a timely manner

Qualifications:
+ Must have a US TS/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV clearance.
+ Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $100,175 - $135,530. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an IT Engineer with Microsoft Enterprise Systems Administrator experience to join our team in support of a Federal Intelligence Agency contract. Primary responsibilities include providing Tier 2 support of maintaining multiple large Enterprise environment that spans CONUS and OCONUS boundaries. The supporting infrastructure includes multiple Microsoft based networks spanning multiple security enclaves within a hybrid (Windows & RHEL) environments.
**Job Responsibilities & Duties:**
+ System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVDI and physical
+ Troubleshooting application functionality, crash and performance
+ Investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience
+ Assist customers with Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and windows applications.
+ Provide remote end user desktop support
+ Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system incidents with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions. Responds to escalated service desk/team requests.
+ Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments.
+ Participates in special projects as required.
+ Willingness to provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents
Required/Desired Skills Candidates should have 4-7 years related experience and knowledge/understanding of:
+ Active Directory Administration
+ DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP
+ Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016,
+ Application Troubleshooting such as Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer
+ Linux Operating system
+ Understanding of Service Now, NETS or other ticketing process
+ ITIL v3 or higher
