Overview SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in Canberra, Australia. The customer based out of Honolulu, Hawaii creates, manages, and supports IT solutions for USINDOPACOM, its mission and its 5,000+ customers throughout the Pacific theater. Our team solves challenging technical problems that enables our customer to realize critical and time sensitive C2 strategies. Essential Job Duties As a Systems Engineer at SOSi, you will be a key component to a team responsible for engineering Command and Control IT solutions in support of USINDOPACOM, related component commands, and relevant operational objectives. You will assist and lead in the development of systems to ensure that our enterprise infrastructure and private cloud platform, is healthy and manageable. The selected candidate for this position should be well-versed in Department of Defense (DoD) protocols, procedures, and regulations, to include Government Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) mandates. The candidate should have foundational knowledge of Data Centric Security Principals, technologies and their implementations. The position is expected to regularly interact with senior DoD personnel, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and to prepare and deliver executive-level briefings/IPRs to interested parties as required. Assess, design, and roadmap development for the implementation or integration of ZTA solutions. Assess, design, and roadmap development for the implementation or integration of Data Centric Security solutions. Contribute, provide technical recommendations, and attend briefings or information sharing forums, with INDOPACOM and the leadership, in support of ZTA initiatives and new capabilities. Interact with vendors, other agencies, and Coalition Partners on behalf of the program. Lead complex technical projects including upgrades, system integrations, and other installations in support of existing Enterprise capabilities. Provide mentorship for Systems Operations personnel in administration principles and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. Maintain current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned. Reviews work efforts/implementations and contributes to analysis, After-Action-Reports (AAR). Regularly collects and summarizes pertinent network-related accomplishments, issues, and concerns. Completes activity reports in accordance with contract requirements. Ensures compliance of custody and ownership of Government equipment and related components. Participates in related solution technologies and special projects, as required. Interface with team leads and team members to collect, develop, document, and submit status updates via a Weekly Activity Report (WAR). Minimum Requirements An Active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility and US Passport. Bachelors degree in IT, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering or similar and 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of experience in enterprise IT systems engineering and operations involving complex classified DoD environments and mandatory security controls (e.g., STIGs). 5+ years implementation and support in server administration. Extensive experience with Microsoft or Linux enterprise services portfolio (Exchange, Active Directory, DNS/BIND, DHCP, SQL, etc). Prior experience in implementing and supporting DoD secure systems environments. DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP) Server Administration (Microsoft or Linux+) certification at hire. Obtain Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) within 6 months. Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (Nutanix preferred) Experience with NSA CSfC requirements including Multi-Site Connectivity Capability Package (MSCCP) and Mobile Access Capability Package (MACP). Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and/or US BICES Trusted Network Environment (TNE) Customer-service oriented with a willingness to participate and assist. Able to follow instructions and work both independently and in a (distributed) team environment. Team-player. Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Attention to detail. Excellent planning and time-management skills. Able to support 24/7 operations (including support to exercises), when necessary. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification. Additional IT certifications in relevant technology platform (e.g., Network+, Citrix, Dell, HPE/Aruba, ITIL, Juniper, Microsoft, Nutanix, Palo Alto, VMware). Experience with Forcepoint/Everfox Trusted Thin Client. Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA). Familiarity with VDI/Virtual Environments and solutions (VMware Horizon, Citrix VDI) Familiarity with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and C2 applications. Experience in ITIL framework and best practices (e.g., Change Management, Configuration Management, Capacity Planning). Experience using Help Desk software (e.g., Jira, Remedy, ServiceNow). About the role

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join a dynamic program focused on delivering cutting-edge, integrated technology solutions. KBR is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join an agile development team focused on technology solutions for the deployment of software and secure systems in support of Defence operations.
As a Mission Planning Systems (MPS) Systems Engineer, you will provide expert systems engineering guidance and advice to support KBR's Defence and Technology Solutions Line of Business.
Working under the direction of the Principal Engineer, this role will involve supporting the delivery of Defence projects in line with established policies, procedures, and systems. You will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of secure, compliant, and accredited software, applications, and IT systems.

This is a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations through effective system integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation of all plant systems components. The role also includes the development and implementation of manufacturing systems projects, digital transformation, Internet of Things (IoT), automation and software applications.
+ Manage, maintain, troubleshoot and modify **Aveva (WW) InTouch and InBatch,** related to process and/or recipe changes.
+ Add/modify/write PLC code for changes to the Making system process and equipment adhering to global plant systems policies.
+ Manage and maintain WW MES client modules and Recipe Manager.
+ Maintain all reports connected to the Plant Systems database (DB) and coordinate with local integrators, Regional / Global Plant Systems for updates and correction as necessary.
+ Responsible for, with the help of IT, all the PCs, servers, and networks that are on the manufacturing network.
+ Lead the implementation and management of site projects related to automation digital transformation, considering people, processes and systems in the implementation.
+ Application of updates and global developments to the productive hardware and software of the plant.
+ Provide training and assist with analysis and troubleshooting of plant floor systems.
+ Document solutions and update the knowledge database.
+ Provide orientation and training to plant operations to encourage the usage of systems.
+ Apply rules that guarantee global consistency of manufacturing systems.
+ Work with IT, Maintenance Engineers and/or Project Engineers in order to define new processes and system capabilities that will improve efficiencies of the operation.
+ Establish and maintain close communication with the Sr. Manager, Regional WCS South Pacific and APAC Supply Chain Manufacturing System to review new implementations and/or to adhere to global guidelines.
+ Lead and manage Cybersecurity related activities in the manufacturing systems including regular security (Tanium) patching of manufacturing servers in accordance with security guidelines.
+ Establish and maintain open communication with plant operational, engineering, maintenance and planning teams.
+ Other duties as required.
**Required (Education, Knowledge required, Language skills, etc)**
+ Bachelor of Engineering degree in a relevant engineering field (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical)
+ 5+ years experience in engineering/automation Experience with FMCG plant systems
+ SCADA systems knowledge
+ PLC programming
+ Experience with SQL database and reporting tools
+ Knowledge of industrial networks and protocols (Devicenet, Modbus, OPC, EthernetIP, ASi, etc)

Salary Range $ - $ USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
