As opportunities arise, we provide internal development and support for skills training relevant to the position.About the role The Tax Accountant plays a key role in the preparation and review of financial accounting and compliance services to our clients. The role presents a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to quickly become a key contributor to our fast-growing team. Responsibilities include: Preparation and review of income tax and FBT returnsPreparation and review of BAS and IASSupport and mentoring of bookkeeping function and team, including:Xero setup and training (inc. COA)Bank reconciliationsAccounts Payable processingAccounts receivable processingManual journal entriesReconciliations and reviewPayroll calculations, review and related administration This role represents a great opportunity for an experienced Tax Accountant to take the nest step in their career as part of a fast growing team with support from highly skilled and experienced professionals, while making a difference to our clients through outstanding client service delivery. Requirements About you You will bring your positive, can-do attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, professionalism and customer service focus and you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration/Management (or a related field)Current professional Accounting registration (CPA/CA, etc.)A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Australian public-practice tax and accountingOutstanding time management skillsExcellent professional communication skills (both written and verbal)Demonstrated attention to detailA strong commitment to customer service, confidentiality and continuous improvementBenefits
