# Job Summary:
In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project's civil/structural aspects. You will lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil/structural components and processes. Your technical expertise will ensure the unique and complex requirements of a project's civil/structural aspects are met.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Plans and conducts independent Civil/Structural work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of Civil/Structural engineering techniques, procedures and criteria on a medium size project or assignment in support of a global business unit
+ Leads the design, development, modification, and evaluation of Civil/Structural components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs) and Design Control Check List (DCCL) and Design Review Notices (DRNs)
+ Reviews and approves key design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications, drawings, change orders, and bid summaries for the project to which assigned
+ Designs structures using advanced knowledge of structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering
+ Determines the appropriate use of various structural elements such as steel, wood, masonry, and concrete to ensure appropriate material is used based on load or stress requirements
+ Originates and checks complex Civil/Structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and material requisitions
+ Develops conceptual designs for Civil/Structural engineering projects or projects having specialized or unique requirements

# Project Overview:
The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.
The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah Riyadh highway.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will plan develop and review design work, produce technical drawings, calculations, specifications and material take-offs for a project's design, procurement and constructability aspects. You will lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes. You will coordinate with clients, facilitate technical discussions and design reviews, review vendor information, project and client design specifications and collaborating discipline design inputs. You will solve complex technical issues and ensure designs comply with all regulations and standards.
Your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure the unique and complex requirements of a project's mechanical aspects are met.
_This is a fulltime position with possible work from home options as per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer - Mechanical to support the management and integration of the specialist functional requirements for a diverse range of large mechanical equipment for a major defence project. This critical role is integral to ensuring the seamless integration of complex production & maintenance-oriented machinery into the base building design.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Management and integration of functional requirements for large mechanical equipment to be incorporated into the project.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, and structural engineers, to incorporate equipment into the project, across both of temporary and permanent works.
+ Coordinate the design and specification of ancillary systems such as gases, power, and utilities to meet equipment and operational needs.
+ Oversee the installation, commissioning, and performance validation of mechanical plant systems to meet project timelines and quality standards.
+ Work closely with project managers, engineering, and stakeholders to align equipment design and placement with overall project objectives.
+ Identify and address technical challenges during the design and implementation phases, proposing innovative solutions where required.

Skills & Experience Required:

Are you a skilled and experienced construction professional ready to take on a pivotal role in delivering high-profile projects?
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our KBR Adelaide team to oversee and coordinate critical interfaces between our client, the managing contractor, and our technical site support team.
Key Responsibilities:
+ You will serve as the primary point of contact between the construction team and the project team.
+ Manage and ensure timely responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawing reviews, and site inspections.
+ Oversee the technical site support team, including civil, structural, building services, security, and architectural disciplines.
+ Support the delivery of Production Demonstration Facilities (PDF) and building infrastructure projects.
+ Lead on-site construction administration processes to ensure seamless project execution.
+ Play a significant role in the first tranche of construction and contribute to the ongoing delivery of future project phases.
Skills & Experience Required:
+ A background in structural engineering, building services engineering, or architecture.
+ Demonstrated expertise in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of on-site construction administration processes, typically acquired through substantial project experience and technical proficiency.
+ Proven experience managing complex projects and interdisciplinary teams.
+ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
+ Current Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain Defence clearance required.
+ Candidates must hold Australian Citizenship.

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless deployment, customer engagement and feedback integration across strategic demo and customer sites. + Lead and execute deployment activities with a hands on approach, directly managing the roll out of customer facing systems at strategic locations. Ensure systems are fully operational and optimised in advance of major events such as Honeywell User Group, with a focus on reliability, performance and stakeholder readiness
+ Maintain high system availability and performance across demo and staging environments
+ Co-ordinate with global teams to ensure systems are updated and supported
+ Identify and align Beta sites for product engagement in collaboration with regional and engineering teams
+ Facilitate Beta site agreements and manage engagement timelines and deliverables
+ Collect and analyse customer site database to support upgrade testing and product qualification
+ Track and resolve technical issues during Beta phases, ensuring alignment with program timelines
+ Act as a liaison between engineering, test teams and customer sites to ensure smooth engagement
+ Provide regular progress updates to leadership, including validation of value propositions and risk assessments
+ Establish and maintain a Management Operating System (MOS) for Beta engagements
+ Experience in product lifecycle management or customer engagement roles
+ Experience with large scale software product deployments and global team collaboration
+ Strong recent experience in on-premise infrastructure environments (preferred over cloud-only experience)
+ Strong cross-functional coordination and communication skills
+ Experience in virtualized and containerized deployment flows (VMWare, Hypervisor, Kubernetes)
+ Technical fluency in system level architecture and deployment workflows
+ Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive closure on action items
+ Accurately estimates work effort and develops management plans
+ Facilitates, tracks and leads day to day operations and program/project scope, schedule and risks and see things through to completion
+ Strong ability at prioritizing conflicting tasks and issues
+ Capable of solving complex problems and making sound decisions
+ Familiarity with EBI/DVM product is highly valued.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be engaged in civil design and project management related to land, urban and subdivision projects. **About the role**

**Day to day tasks would involve:**

**To be successful for this role you'll need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

+ Knowledge of applicable Australian standards, codes and state requirements
+ Obtain CP Eng and RPEQ Registration as soon as eligible
