Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales and service goals mainly in dental clinics and/or dental laboratories within an assigned territory, through the effective selling and promoting of Nobel Biocare & Implant Direct products, solutions and services to existing and potential new customers within the framework of organizational policies and directives.
**Job Requirements:**
Analyze and assess customer and territory sales trends constantly and report periodically. Plan sales activity based on territory needs to ensure that territory attains or exceeds assigned monthly, quarterly and/or annual sales goals.
Responsible for supporting and often negotiating new agreements; manage existing agreements including contract renewals. Coordinate contract implementation with the head of sales, marketing, customer service and warehousing. Clearly communicate the packages sold into large or major accounts.
Identify and maintain regular contact with prospective customers; develop and implement creative strategies aimed at converting these prospective customers from competition to a new customer.
Develop and maintain relationships with key influential thought leaders. Utilize these relationships to expand market share.
Report to the management about any product issues, loss or potential loss of key customers, or competitive sales strategies that negatively or positively affect local sales.
Study and stay informed on products, technologies, clinical studies, competitive activity, and other general information of interest to company or to customers. Apply this knowledge for your strategies and tactics to develop your commercial activity.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures and demonstrate the ability to effectively implement them at the territory level.

**A Day in the Life**
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical professional to join as Territory Manager based in South Australia (SA) and to be an integral member of our Structural Heart team at Medtronic.
The Structural Heart operating unit offers minimally invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart valves. We focus on the transcatheter replacement of the four heart valves-Aortic Heart Valve, pulmonic, mitral, and tricuspid.
In this role, you will achieve sales revenue targets for a specified territory, provide complete account management within that territory, and practice professional and effective territory management in terms of organization, technical expertise, administration, inventory management and expense planning and control.

+ Sales experience &/or sales capability in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, or knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting in devices or healthcare industry
+ Advanced understanding of internal workings of hospital labs / theatres / departments e.g. purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling, and key influencers
+ Cardiac Catheter Lab experience is highly regarded
+ Comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge including clinical papers
+ Knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting
+ Adoption of consultative selling strategies: excellence in planning, execution and evaluation of sales calls
+ Good negotiation skills: works to facilitate negotiations which involve other businesses

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
**1. Customer Relations:**
- Develop and maintain working relations with key stakeholders.

- Motivate, empower, develop and, as appropriate, recognize and reward individual and team achievements.
- Conduct hiring activities, which includes headcount approval, job posting, interviewing, selection, and on-boarding activities.
- Monitor performance improvement issues and provide appropriate coaching and counselling.

- Plan and manage vacation and training schedules effectively to meet daily availability goals.

**4. Financial Management (impacts the P&L):**
- Promote and manage time-and-material (T&M) activities.
- Manage expenses effectively (parts, and assets).
- Be responsible for physical assets including tools, test equipment, PC etc. and service parts, both assigned (PPK) and loaned (issued on a work order).
- Manage parts usage and service parts returns including surplus stock, loaned parts and PPK adjustments.
- Contribute to the review and revision of appropriate parts inventory levels.
- Manage employee-related and miscellaneous expenses.
- Maintain existing maintenance bases while promoting and pursuing additional contract maintenance, ancillary sales and other revenue-producing opportunities.
- Manage accounts receivable issues.
**5. FSC Coordination:**
-Conduct on-going, open communications with assigned FSC Service Coordinator on an ongoing basis.
-Support the FSC Service Coordinator in managing SLA and HW availability performance.
-Consult with the FSC Service Coordinator on service delivery escalation, both proactive and reactive.
-Meet regularly with the FSC Service Coordinator to review and improve SLA performance and CE utilization.
-Consult with the FSC Service Coordinator on the best of use of resources from the territory.

**About our role**
We currently have an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Territory Manager to join our Victorian Foodservice sales team, working and reporting to our Southern Region State Manager. This hybrid role combines direct end-user engagement and distributor management, spanning metro and regional Victoria.
You will be responsible for managing and growing a large portfolio of end user customers-ranging from pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels, takeaways, to health and aged care institutions-supported by distributors and working closely with their sales teams. Using our Salesforce CRM as your primary interface, you will build awareness, drive product trial, and encourage adoption of Simplot's food service products.

**About you**
+ 5+ years' experience in a Territory Manager or similar field-based sales role
