To be successful in this role , you must have:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or relevant experience.

- Experience in technical documentation and processes IAW Quality Standards AS/NZS9001, AS/NZS9100, and AS/NZS45001 framework
- Experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, 5S etc)
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, Visio).
- Specialised knowledge and/or operational understanding of optronics and navigation systems is desirable.
- Prior work experience in soldering within the electronics industry is desirable.

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team at our Master Rebuild Centre in Carole Park, QLD.
In this role you will perform skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. You will select and use appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment to complete work with limited guidance. You will learn and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
This could be a great opportunity for a light motor vehicle mechanic to make the transition into the heavy diesel sector, or for a heavy diesel technician to enhance their skill set.
In this role, you will specialize in rebuilding our high-horsepower engines. Work on 19ltr to 78ltr (600 - 3500Bhp) industry-leading engines in a world-class facility! Enjoy the benefit of working with state-of-the-art ergonomic equipment and tooling that provides an efficient and safe environment.
**This role would start in the day shift (6am to 2pm) with a possibility to move to afternoon shift in future (2pm to 10pm)**
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
Remanufacture the highest quality, High Horsepower Diesel Engines for our Mining customers
Work as part of a highly skilled team to deliver 'As New' reconditioned engines using high-tech equipment
Be supported by a state-of-the-art 'Electronic Process Documentation System.'
Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues/incidents to the Production Manager
Complete required documentation, such as Safety Check Sheets, Process Quality Checks, Daily Time Sheets

As a minimum you must have:
+ A high level of communication skills (oral and written)
+ Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
+ Experience with HVAC systems and comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components
+ Cert 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
+ Air-conditioning and refrigeration Supervisors licence
+ Current and valid Australian driver's licence
