Right now, we are seeking bright and energised **Program Managers** to join our inspired team. In this role, you will contribute to the critical outcomes of the Australian Defence Force by delivering complex, state-of-the-art programs designed to keep Australia safe.
You will lead an expert team to success by setting the vision, building the plan and using your unique leadership skills to foster a strong and safe team culture that delivers truly innovative solutions. The role, based in Williamtown, NSW, supports RAAF execute advanced test and training exercises across the country.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Day-to-day safety and operations of the program;
+ Accountability for estimating and executing various Projects that deliver safety, security and operational improvements to RAAF Test and Training activities;
+ Provide key communications and stakeholder management within the team;
+ Liaison with Commonwealth Program Offices to ensure that Commonwealth expectations are met;
+ Preparation and management of project, management, and customer reports including review packs, estimates at completion packs, and weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports.
Travel may be required within Australia to fulfil the requirements of this role.
**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
+ Relevant tertiary qualification in either, Program or Business Management, or equivalent experience; with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a defence project management role or relevant experience;
+ Demonstrated competence in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) competencies;
+ Proven ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a high-performance team;
+ Strongly developed interpersonal skills and able to influence stakeholders at an operational level and the ability to develop solutions that meet complex customer requirements;
+ Demonstrated focus on delivering the best possible outcome and attends to all details required to deliver the right solutions at the right time and commitments are met on budget and schedule.
+ Hold or be eligible for an NV-1 security clearance to perform the role

The New Grad Program

Our Client has developed & specifically tailored a “New Graduate Program” to make the transition smoother for new graduates entering the workplace. The Program fully supports recent graduates, enabling them to acquire the skills needed to launch them into a successful career. Spanning over 12 months & starting from the moment you step through our doors.

In the first week, you will complete a weeklong induction, provided with all of the information needed to start your journey. This week, new graduates will shadow other clinicians, meet the team, & familiarise themselves with the centre, along with our policies & procedures. Our Cardiac Rhythm Management Integrated Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. In this role, the successful individual will lead the regional "in the field" employee education and training activities supporting CRM employees including new hire training. You will play a critical role in being the education lead for product launches, as well as be accountable for development and promotion of programs and resources essential for annual re-certification and continuing professional development.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Ensure Medtronic personnel maintain a high level of technical proficiency with products, technologies, and relevant procedural training.
+ Develop, implement, and oversee a structured annual recertification program that reinforces marketing strategies and ensures the continued enhancement of technical skills.
+ Collaborate closely with the marketing team to design and execute education plans for new product launches, coordinating training initiatives for both Medtronic field staff and customers to drive successful adoption of new technologies across ANZ.
+ Active involvement in new hire training by supporting in-person training, plus field coaching, supervision, and competency assessments to ensure readiness for certification.
+ Support the customer education manager by involvement in customer events and training programs as required, to meet the educational needs of healthcare professionals.
+ Monitor and manage product training metrics, providing detailed reports and insights to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ 7 years of professional experience in electrophysiology, nursing, allied health, engineering, and/or the implantable cardiac devices.
+ Knowledge of education and training techniques; valuable to have certifications in instructional design or adult learning.
