We are looking for a National Sales Manager to drive growth and increase market share for PDSS within the Utilities segment within Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). The key product range includes indoor and outdoor switchgear, voltage regulators, surge arresters, load break switches, power correction, and energy automation software products and solutions.
This is a pivotal role designed to galvanise a team of dedicated Business Development Managers to identify and harness value for prospective clients within Utilities and Renewables segment.
**Key Duties:**
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth within Utilities and Renewables.
+ Support the team to identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.
+ Drive accountability with BDMs to demonstrate the expected Eaton behaviours to deliver on their sales and margin targets.
+ Lead contract negotiations, ensure mutually beneficial agreements that align with Eaton's company objectives.
+ Ensure the maintenance and review of accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline management using Salesforce.
+ Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
+ Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at potential customer organisations and step in to support the team when required.
+ Support the team in presenting proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of prospective customers.
**Qualifications:**
+ A minimum of 10 years of sales and business development experience in the electrical industry working with power distribution ideally in Utilities or Renewables.
+ Knowledge and experience in power distribution solutions and services - indoor and outdoor switchgear, voltage regulators, surge arresters, load break switches, power correction and automation.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders.
+ Experience managing a team of sales and business development managers.
+ Demonstrated experience in driving complex bids, RFP and RFQ's.

+ Support the sales organisation and facilitate processes to deliver the sale and financial or inventory allocation for the sale.
+ Respond both to incoming electronic customer enquiries (e.g. emails, forms) and to customer calls, and escalate as needed.
+ Actively supports all branch personnel in the sale of products to retail customers, where the task is well documented and repetitive.
+ Compile budgetary quotes for simple jobs by gathering technical data, customer presentations, lead time and others for customer facing sales force.
+ Schedule customer visits and events, gets involved in actual execution and preparation. Receives and processes orders, issues order acknowledgements, invoices and shipping notices for simple jobs.
+ Compile and communicate order status, inventory status and other associated information to customer facing sales force.
+ Assists in resolving of customer issues (including shipment and after sale).
+ Compiles, conducts analyses and reports inventory/stock levels.
+ Prepare finance forecast and accumulation of the project financial data; for presentation to the leadership and finance departments.
+ Coordinate project meetings; including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes -finding times the schedules for meetings and making bookings.
+ Maintain project documentation and records, including project plans, status reports, and change requests -Interim document support until further resources can be made available (collation and submissions)

+ Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.

+ SAP S4Hanna experience preferred

**What does a Graduate Chemical engineer in our Water team do?**
You will be in the Treatment Team and have the opportunity to work with water, wastewater, biosolids and odour treatment. You will have office days but also be out on site and be involved in the following activity:
+ Investigate and analyse process engineering elements to support engineering projects such treatment plants, water management and sewage systems.
+ Support high performing teams in details design and reviews.
+ Perform basic calculations to analyse, model and design process system components.
+ Assist in preparing process designs, drawings, specifications, presentations, and reports.
+ Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in finding solutions and coordination of the project.
+ Assist the team in providing support services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ Working on generator sets and engine control panels, scheduled and unscheduled service works
+ Troubleshooting and diagnostics on engines/generators up to 3350KVA
+ Modifying wiring looms/diagrams
+ Commissioning of new generators/systems, transfer switches and master controllers
+ Working closely with the Mechanical Service team
+ Completing all work with a high focus on safety
+ Participate in an After Hours on call roster
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ Be a trade qualified electrician
+ Hold a current Electrical Licence and/or Electrical contractor's license
+ Previous industrial experience in an industrial factory as a senior or sole electrician
+ An in depth understanding of control systems (including PLC and relay logic)
+ The ability to interpret electrical schematics
+ Strong PC skills
+ Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
+ A current, valid driver's license
+ Previous experience in Power Generation products would be highly regarded but is not essential
**QUALIFICATIONS**
