What You'll DoIn the role of Water Treatment Specialist, your duties will include:
+ Ensures that plant operations follow operating guidelines, and that treated water is safe and acceptable entering the distribution system
+ Assumes responsibility for complete operation and maintenance of treatment plant
+ Monitors, operates, repairs, and maintains plant processes and associated equipment system components
+ Conducts daily rounds and inspections for treatment systems, water wells, main pump stations, water storage tanks, and swimming pools
+ Collects, inspects, tests, and evaluates representative water samples to meet regulations range
+ Maintains chemical feed pumps to adjust proper dosage rate of chemicals
+ Checks chemical dosage tank level and refill tank
+ Performs routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment to include calibrations, basic mechanical and electrical work, and lubricating and replacing parts
+ Maintains all required records such as daily operating logs, AF forms, daily inspection process forms, and chemical and repair parts inventory and compiles and analyzes data and reports daily
+ Manages the operating budget and materials/supplies procurement for the wastewater plant.
Requirements:
+ Must be a US or Australian citizen
+ Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active US Secret clearance or AUS PV Clearance.
+ An Associate Degree in a related field, such as environmental science or chemistry.
+ A high school diploma and on-the-job training in job duties of wastewater treatment may be considered.
+ A minimum of 5 years' experience in water treatment
+ Must possess excellent communication skills.

# Project Overview:
The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.
The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah Riyadh highway.
Bechtel has been awarded the Ar Rjum gold project feasibility study update and related works by Ma'aden, Saudi Arabia's state-owned mining company. The scope will include updating the existing design capacity from 6 Mtpa to 8 Mtpa and preparing for execution, which is anticipated to kick off execution in 2025.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project's civil aspects where you will lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil components and processes.
Your technical expertise will ensure the unique and complex requirements of a project's civil/structural aspects are met.
_This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership._
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Plans and conducts independent Civil work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of Civil engineering techniques, procedures and criteria on a medium size project or assignment in support of a global business unit for civil works on green field and brown field projects.

As part of the Stantec Water Group you will get exposure to all areas of water engineering and have the potential to undertake water resources work for dams and hydro projects, water infrastructure projects and help to provide increased flood resilience to communities through detailed flooding assessment and work for local and state agencies.
**The** **Senior Water Resources Engineer is typically** **responsible for:**
+ Undertaking hydraulic and hydrological modelling - TUFLOW, URBS, XP RAFTS and WBNM preferred.
+ Assistance/mentorship to junior members of the team - we operate as a national tram and foster an environment of open learning.
+ Producing clear and concise technical reports.

+ Flood modelling of creek and river systems and overland flow paths.

As a Civil Engineer, you will work as part of the wider Data Center Design Engineering Team collaborating with our Real Estate, Construction and other partner teams. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of design delivery ensuring we continue to meet and exceed our industry leading quality and performance requirements.
Utilizing your Civil Engineering expertise, you will assist in site selection, assessment of due diligence reports, supporting with overall campus and site planning and development ultimately playing a pivotal role throughout the delivery of Data Center projects.
The successful candidate will be strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly with a history of delivering for their customers. The DCGS business requires creative engineering balanced with high quality and customer focus. You must be able to work as part of a large and dynamic team, including many internal stakeholders, customers as well as external stakeholders like design consultants, developers and general contractors.
Key job responsibilities
- Communicate conceptual designs and create/maintain project documentation before, during, and after construction.
- Develop and maintain design standards, design prototypes, and template specifications related to site design.
- Coordinate with Due Diligence teams to determine site selection criteria and review Due Diligence reports.
- Create, review, and release design RFPs.
- Manage our external civil/structural/architectural design consultants through the design and construction process.
- Review designs for grading, storm water, utilities, and pavement.
- Coordinate with internal and external Architecture, Structure and MEP design engineers.
- Effectively communicate design standards to internal and external project partners.
- Manage multiple fast paced projects simultaneously.

Basic Qualifications
