**About the Role**
Devoted to offering spa guests a holistic wellness experience, The Ritz-Carlton Spa uses its waterfront setting to encourage relaxation and reflection in Perth. Four idyllic treatment rooms, including a couple's spa suite, and secluded wellness lounges inclusive of heated vitality pools & saunas, are where nature meets beauty with crafted luxury day spa rituals.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Perth in Australia works collaboratively with national and international skincare brands LaGaia Unedited and Biologique Recherche on its bespoke spa treatments and retail collections for both hotel guests and guests local to Perth.
As creating memorable and extraordinary luxury experiences is at the heart of everything we do, we are looking for a passionate, talented, and experienced Spa Therapist to join our dedicated team of Spa professionals.
**Duties**
+ Perform a variety of luxury spa treatments including; massage therapy, facial treatments, body scrub/wrap experiences, manicures & pedicures
+ High level of customer care
+ Thorough understanding of spa menu to perform all treatments to highest standards and ability to offer guests different treatments and homecare to suit their goals
+ Ability to reach weekly and monthly retail targets to obtain incentives as set by Spa Manager
**Skills & Experience**
+ Diploma or Cert IV in Beauty Therapy or Massage Therapy
+ Minimum 1 years industry experience
+ Excellent time management skills
+ Desire to work in a team as well as autonomously
+ Experience with Biologique Recherche or LaGaia Unedited (desirable)
+ National Police Clearance

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

About the Role:
As a Spa Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through professional, courteous, and personalized spa services. Your focus will be on exceeding expectations, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and contributing to a high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all guests from arrival to departure
- Deliver spa treatments efficiently and pleasantly, following established protocols
- Maintain punctuality and be ready to start shifts 10 minutes early
- Upsell and rebook guests by being knowledgeable about all spa services and retail products
- Perform opening and closing duties, ensuring all areas are clean and well-prepared
- Handle reception duties including reservations, cashiering, and guest inquiries
- Support guests with local knowledge and service-related concerns, escalating when needed
- Follow safety procedures and report incidents or maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain high standards of grooming and professional appearance
- Attend daily briefings and collaborate with other departments when required
- Keep all spa areas tidy, including treatment rooms, wet zones, and back-of-house space
Skills & Experience:
- Diploma in Beauty Therapy and/or Certificate IV in Massage
- Previous experience in a resort or hotel spa environment
- Strong time management and ability to tailor treatments to individual guest needs
- Impeccable grooming and attention to detail
- Flexibility to assist across resort departments when needed
- Solid understanding of spa culture and wellness industry
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities
- Confident in delivering both facial and body treatments
- Proven customer service skills and retail sales performance
