**JOB SUMMARY**
The primary responsibility includes supervising daily beverage operations and assists with beverage offerings and upsells, menu planning and assists the talent on the floor during peak service periods. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction. Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan.
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
The core responsibilities include:
+ Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations and taking drink orders.
+ Learning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
+ Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses and serving beverages to customers.
+ Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
+ Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
+ Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
+ Handling cash, credit and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
+ Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
+ Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils and equipment.
+ Developing new cocktail recipes.
+ Upsell and recommend signature beverages to the guests.

Do you have a passion for crafting exquisite cocktails or are you an aspiring bartender eager to share up your career? We are searching for a new Bartender with the perfect mix of skills to make every guest experience truly memorable!
A little taste of your day-to-day:
+ Creating a warm welcome for every single guest that sets the tone for their experience with us
+ Striving to make every meal truly memorable for our guests by serving up high standards with our signature flare
+ Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard as well as highlighting promotions for our guests
+ Assist in managing stock, inventory and equipment as well as keeping the space cleaner than clean
+ Handling cash and credit transactions
+ Working closely with your restaurant colleagues to deliver a truly seamless service
What We need from you:
+ A right to work in Australia
+ A valid RSA
+ A passion for hospitality
+ The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
+ A good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths
+ The flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
+ Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol - you'll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
+ Great communication - you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
