This position supports the Ankura Disputes and Economics practice - one of six practices focused on client delivery services across the Firm.

Our Australian D&E practice launched in 2023 but is led by some of the most experienced practitioners in the market, having most recently led the disputes practice of one of the Big-4 Accounting Firms.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
+ Prepare damages assessments, valuations, analyse technical accounting issues, prepare economic analyses and conduct financial investigations.
+ Prepare complex financial models in Microsoft Excel, including DCF analyses.
+ Draft high-quality experts' reports and other deliverables.
+ Work directly with some of Australia's best litigators and expert witnesses.
+ Develop relationships, both internally and externally.
+ Start the journey toward potentially becoming an expert witness yourself.
Requirements:
We're looking for someone who:
+ Is a newly promoted Manager, an Assistant Manager/Supervisor, or a very experienced Senior Consultant/Senior Analyst at a well-regarded professional services firm, preferably in a forensic or disputes practice. You might also be the right fit if you currently work in valuations, or transaction services, or have taken time out from professional services to try a corporate role and are now looking to return.
+ Has completed their post-graduate qualification (CA preferred) or is on track to do so in the next 12 months.
+ Has strong analytical skills with experience in building financial models.
+ Has a flexible approach to problem-solving, capable of identifying and applying legal and financial principles across a range of contexts, and can critical thinking and good judgement.
+ Has strong report writing and communication skills, including an ability to communicate clearly, crisply and concisely in a manner tailored for the audience.
+ Can work autonomously and is able to effectively manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.

Our advisory team are looking for an Associate Director - Business Case & Economics to join their growing team based in Brisbane. In this role, you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that helps clients 'bring ideas to life' across the built environment, infrastructure, energy and resources, and government.
Our Associate Directors form the key touch points of our business with our clients, delivering quality outputs that generate tangible outcomes for their challenges. They're enabled and supported to build the business and grow service streams, working with and developing our colleagues' capabilities to serve client needs.
**How you'll make a difference:**
+ Provide Infrastructure Advisory and consulting services to public and private clients
+ Lead the development of business cases, procurement processes, asset decision frameworks, strategic and tactical asset management and technical advisory services, collaboratively drawing in the other expertise of AECOM
+ Maintain and further develop relationships with a wide range of clients and critical external and internal stakeholders
+ Help lead and to grow a team focused on delivering high standards of service
**Qualifications**

+ Ideally, 12 + years of experience in advisory or business case development roles

+ A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Commerce/Economics, Sciences, Project Management, or similar. Asset Management or Engineering qualifications/certifications are desirable.
