About You

The beautifully appointed, purpose-built Mt Lawley Endoscopy Unit boasts magnificent views over the Swan River. It has two procedure rooms and a ten-bed recovery room. The unit uses state-of-the-art technology and is staffed by highly specialised gastroenterology and endoscopy nurses.

The unit provides a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.

As a member of our friendly and approachable team, you will provide safe and compassionate clinical care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.   • No Fixed Site Assignment: Employees are not permanently based at a single site. Instead, they are deployed to different locations within a predefined group of sites as needed.
  • You may be required to work at different sites within your contracted hours to address clinical requirements.
  • Expectations from Employees: Flexibility to adapt to different sites, workflows, and team dynamics. Capability to quickly integrate into new environments while maintaining productivity.

What is our Registered Nurse Midwife role?

As part of a multidisciplinary team, Registered Nurse Midwife provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence based nursing/midwifery care is delivered to patients. This role facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The Emergency Centre provides care for women experiencing urgent gynaecological or pregnancy related medical conditions.

About The Role

Attadale Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our outstanding Rehabilitation Team.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating of the care delivery of each patients’ individual needs and working closely with the multidisciplinary team.

Ability to work across a 7 day rotational roster

Your Skills and Experiences

To excel in this position, you will bring a strong clinical skillset coupled with genuine dedication to patient care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values.

You will possess extensive clinical expertise gained in a hospital environment. Rehab experience would be desirable however not essential.

You will also bring:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience in Rehabilitation care will be highly regarded.
  • Minimum 3 years working in the hospital setting.
  • Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.

Remuneration: On offer is base annual salary ranging from $75,436.57 - $99,268.14 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA gr1-gr8)

ABOUT THE POSITION

Based in the Endoscopy Unit, this role will see you provide care for patients within general surgical areas. As an integral team member, you will support the general function of the unit using best practice principles and education, whilst drawing upon your extensive surgical experience.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care;
  • Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care;
  • Providing quality care to patients undergoing Endoscopy and minor procedures. Includes pre-/intra-, and post-procedure care;
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with other health professionals in the delivery of health care including preparing patients for discharge;
  • Working to ensure continuous quality improvement and abiding by risk management guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • Previous procedural endoscopy experience (essential);
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to role model and promote the hospital's values;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels;

FACILITY DETAILS

The Cath Labs within this suite offer a wide range of specialized services, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology with 3D mapping ablations, FFR and IVUS procedures, cardiac implantable devices, vascular interventions, and complex cases involving structural heart issues such as PFOs, LAAOs, TAVI, and Mitral Valve prosthetic implantations. The hospital benefits from a dedicated and experienced team of nursing staff and radiographers who consistently provide top-quality care and service.


Additionally, the hospital now boasts three brand-new, state-of-the-art Angiography suites located adjacent to a 41-bed coronary care unit. In conjunction with these three labs, there is also a Hybrid suite within the theatre complex, conveniently connected to the 10-bed Level 3 Intensive Care Unit.
