br>Position: CNC Tube Bending Machine Operator
Salary: $75,000-$95,000 + 11.5 superannuation
Hours: 38
Mode: Full-time
Location: 1 Ladbroke St, Milperra, NSW, 2214
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Tube Bending Machine Operator with a strong mechanical background to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting 4-axis CNC tube bending machines, ensuring high-quality bends on structural and industrial piping components. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural pipeline fabrication, knowledge of measurement instruments, and a keen eye for quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate 4-axis CNC tube bending machines (preferably SMS Group or equivalent brands). < r>• nterpret and work from engineering drawings and bending specifications. < r>• S t up tube bending machine parameters including tooling, clamping, and mandrel positions. < r>• P rform various tube bending tasks including: Lower Hood Bending, Skirt Bending, Cooling Ring Bending, L.F Roof Bending, Cooling Stack Bending, Segment Bending. < r>• I spect work using micrometres, Vernier callipers, gauges, and dial indicators to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications. < r>• P rform hydrotesting and assist in pipeline structure validation as required. < r>• C mplete preventative maintenance (PM) tasks and perform minor machine troubleshooting and repairs. < r>• M intain daily logs and documentation for machine operations and product quality. < r>• C llaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to validate process compliance. < r>• C mply with safety procedures at all times. < r>
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• T ade qualified or in Mechanical Engineering. < r>• M nimum 5+ years of hands-on experience operating CNC tube bending machines. < r>• P oficient in the use of precision measuring instruments. < r>• C pable of reading technical drawings and schematics. < r>
Desirable Skills:
• S rong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. < r>• A ility to work independently and in a team setting. < r>• B sic knowledge of machine maintenance. < r>• B sic Computer skills < r>
Physical Requirements:
• A ility to stand, bend, and work with machines for extended periods. < r>• A le to lift medium-weight components as part of the job role.

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
+ Assist in the Installation, assembly, maintenance and repair of equipment
+ Carry out all functions in a manner that ensures safety to both personnel and equipment and in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.
+ Accept responsibility for the day-to-day activities required and undertaken at the work site
+ Co-operate with co-workers in creating smooth workflow, including assisting with each other's work, when necessary
+ Assist in testing and commissioning of equipment
+ Perform assembly line duties.
+ Assembling of components.
+ Assisting in the development of new employees, maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.
+ Any other duty as assigned by your manager from time to time
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Previous experience in a similar role
+ Proficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy including the ability to write job notes, read safety information and understand basic numeracy such as time, parts numbers and quantities
+ Ability to work independently and as a team
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Reliable and punctual
