**Your New Role and Responsibilities**
The Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental Officer (WHSEO) is responsible for the efficient and cost-effective deployment of the company's WHS and Environmental strategy to best meet the Business needs and to direct, assist, train and coordinate management and employees on the requirements of legislation, regulations and standards.
+ Support and promote the Safety Management System (SMS), WHS Management System, and Quality Management System (QMS).
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WHSE legislation and manage implementation of any relevant changes across the organisation. This includes ability to interpret relevant health and safety legislation (including applicable Acts, regulations, standards and codes of practice, policies and procedures).
+ Conduct and lead WHSE audits, inspections, and incident investigations, including root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
+ Develop and deliver WHSE training programs to ensure staff competency and awareness of their obligations and safe practices.
+ Interface with regulatory authorities, government agencies and other applicable third-party entities on WHSE matters to ensure we are compliant andmeeting recognized standards and obligations.

To do so, you must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. You will also be required to instruct and train operations leadership and site WHS professionals in company EHS policies while assisting the regional teams in incorporating our safety standards at their sites. Your experience working in safety programs and your relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic knowledge in an operations environment will be crucial.
You will be responsible for developing a team of safety professionals within your designated business. Your teams' success will depend on your ability to create and execute leadership development plans for your larger team. You must demonstrate your ability to clearly communicate organizational direction through your team and give frequent and appropriate feedback to your WHS teams while ensuring they are executing to the core competencies of an Amazon WHS professional. As a senior leader in the WHS organization, you will also be responsible for judging and assessing safety talent to select appropriate bench strength for current and future business needs.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon WHS Policies.
- Measure the regions and sites' performance against published requirements in WHS policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan for the site to implement and fix all identified deficiencies.
- Ensure WHS recordkeeping and data integrity and provides Operations with accurate reporting and metrics to support business WHS initiatives.
- Deliver on-time and quality projects to Operations. Deliver quality projects on time to Operations.
- Analyze WHS metrics and review incident weekly and monthly incident trends to discover trends to justify the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.
- Analyze Global Safety Peer Review results and develop and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury at other FCs.
- Audit recordkeeping practices and Global WHS Database entries to ensure compliance to global WHS standards and local regulations.
- Audit the workplace organization and Associate behaviors to ensure that training, auditing and scoring methods are accurate and consistent.
- Manage and mentor WHS professionals within your assigned FCs.
- Spend time at the delivery stations and seek input from WHS teams, Associates and leaders on WHS program improvement opportunities. Ensure open communication on status of progress and resolution against these suggestions.
- Lead soft tissue injury reduction efforts by performing targeted Kaizens in partnership with the Operations teams based on the risks identified in each task (force, repetition, and awkward postures).
- Ensure site leadership and Associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy. Audit the quality, delivery (including qualifications of the trainer), and effectiveness of all required WHS training.
- Review for effectiveness the deployed WHS tools and revise to ensure continual improvement.
- Partner with corporate and other regional field WHS personnel to leverage global WHS and environmental best practices into NA network standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, transportation operations, or relevant experience applicable to the role
- 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Must be willing to relocate if not currently within region to an office within one of the designated region's sites.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, as required to support direct reports and site needs.

PASS is embedded in the Data Center Engineering team within OCI. The PASS team operates at a global scale supporting all stages of the data center lifecycle from market selection through build to operations and ultimately, decommission. **The Role - Compliance Program Manager**
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Compliance Program Manager, specializing in data center operations. You will work in our Safety Compliance Service Team supporting compliance service coordination with our partner team of Environment, Health, & Safety experts.
As a Compliance Program Manager, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver compliance services including the facilitation of compliance assessments, stakeholder/partner engagement and continuous monitoring. You will work among diverse groups with varying priorities and work methodologies in different geographic locations? Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will be crucial in connecting individuals and fostering collaborative efforts.
You will play a pivotal role in providing service support, continuous monitoring, and compliance assessment to our stakeholders and customers within Oracle.
