**What You'll Do at Pega:**
+ Penetrate new departments (new logo) and radiate new business within existing customer base in assigned State Government territory.
+ Leverage industry and product knowledge to share insights about how a client can maximize license to drive business benefits
+ Continuously build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales activity through prospecting.
+ Strong sales skills are critical in terms of forecasting, executive presentations, and strategic planning.
+ Develop a trusted advisor relationship with multiple stakeholders across the clients inside State Gov / Public Sector Departments
+ Work with Pega's strong Ecosystem to jointly generate Pega value propositions to take to Government.
+ To be a strong team player inside a state government team contributing with strategy, insights and quota success.
+ Provide insight to the customer as the basis of the commercial conversation, teaching customers something new/valuable about how to serve citizens
+ Continuously build and maintain a pipeline of sales activity through prospecting and pipelining using a variety of methods

**Who You Are:**

Design, develop, test and deploy well-architected software

Get hands-on with a range of technologies and practice a range of disciplines: back-end, front-end, DevOps, machine learning, data science, data architecture. We are curious generalists who don't pigeon-hole ourselves as particular "flavours" of engineer and never say "that's not my job".
Collaborate with customers through full engagements; you'll learn about their business challenges, rapidly design and develop prototypes to solve them, showcase the functionality you've written in demos and finally see the difference you've made when customers deploy solutions into their production environments.
Work with the latest AWS services and open-source technologies to build your prototypes. You'll always be encouraged to pick the right tools for the job.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The Sales Manager will own, operate and define strategy for ANZPS territory managing a team of specialist sales executives.
