As the **Technical Lead** , you need to excel at customer service and technology. You are responsible for working with clients, answering support requests by phone, email, and in-app communication channels. As an Amazon Principal Field Engineer, you will act as the technical authority and provide guidance to the Colo Regional Engineering (CRE) team. The CRE team is the end to end technical engineering resource for the AWS Colocation operational data center fleet at AWS and is responsible throughout the life of the facilities. As a Principal CRE, you will be the 'go to' engineering resource for region escalation and the sponsor for large business impacting programs effecting our existing fleet.
Key job responsibilities
You will use your subject matter expertise to:
* Mentor, guide, and technically lead field engineers globally in your discipline
* Develop and maintain technical guidelines/guardrails/mechanisms that raise the bar.
* Review and technical inspect Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and lead discussions for the corrective actions related to site/equipment failures.
* Perform design and equipment submittal review for new Data Centers to ensure that new equipment meets FE requirements.
* Directly support operational issue escalations including some on-call event support.
* Interface with internal engineering partner teams such as the server hardware team, environmental health and safety team to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered.
* Be the steward of field feedback to our upstream design teams, and downstream feedback from the principal community back to FE.
* Work on concurrent programs across multiple geographical regions and support our engineering audit programs.
* Be the decision maker in complex technical discussions.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Cumulative 15+ yrs. of experience with mission critical facilities including critical equipment/system design, implementation, and operational experience

We are looking for an experienced Principal Security Engineer to join the Security team in Australia. You will be on a team responsible for conducting both pre and post launch testing, offensive campaigns, emergent threat testing, creating/maintaining automated threat emulation solutions, and helping security and service teams add offensive insight to their development, deployment, monitoring, and response processes. KBR's Land Systems Division continues to expand, and we are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the Armoured Fighter Vehicle Branch within the Heavy Armoured SPO (HASPO).
This role provides a rare opportunity to work at the centre of Australia's heavy armoured vehicle capability, contributing to the sustainment and upgrade of platforms such as the M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank, Redback Infantry Fighting Vehicle, Armoured Recovery Vehicles, and other specialist heavy vehicle fleets.
You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team under the Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) framework, providing systems engineering expertise across the capability lifecycle. This includes support to design assurance, integration of new technologies, fleet sustainment, and capability upgrades across some of the Australian Army's most complex and mission-critical platforms.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
Responsibilities:
+ Apply systems engineering principles across the platform lifecycle, from requirements development and design assurance through to verification and validation.
+ Support the preparation and review of Technical Investigations, Engineering Support Reports, Safety Cases, and Technical Instructions.
+ Contribute to engineering design reviews, risk management, and configuration/change control activities for heavy armoured platforms.
+ Assist in the integration of subsystems across mobility, lethality, protection, survivability, and digital C4I domains.
+ Develop and maintain System Engineering Management Plans, Test & Evaluation documentation, and certification artefacts.
+ Work closely with Army stakeholders, industry partners, and suppliers to ensure solutions meet operational and sustainment requirements.
+ Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers as required.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Mechatronics or related discipline).
+ Experience in systems engineering within Defence programs (land domain highly regarded).
+ Practical knowledge of requirements management, risk management, configuration management, and V&V processes.
+ Exposure to armoured vehicle systems (weapons, sensors, survivability systems, powertrain, mobility or digital communications) is advantageous.
