**How You'll Shine**
As a Chef you'll support the smooth operation of our resort food service - from food prep and cooking to maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. You'll bring energy, teamwork, and pride to every shift, helping deliver fresh, tasty meals that enhance our guests' experience.
+ Assist in preparation and cooking of meals according to menu and dietary needs
+ Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards at all times
+ Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and work areas
+ Support stock rotation and inventory checks
+ Work collaboratively with front-of-house and resort teams
+ Uphold safe work practices in line with OH&S requirements
**What You'll Bring**
+ Experience in a kitchen, café, or commercial cooking environment
+ Passion for food quality and presentation
+ Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
+ Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
+ Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
+ Food Safety Certificate (desired)
+ Commercial Cookery qualification (highly regarded but not essential)

• Planning menu in consultation with management for the occasions and ongoing.
• Managing team of cooks and kitchen staff for smooth operations.
• Manage food preparation and cooking processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure all food items are prepared according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain inventory levels, order ingredients, and manage stock to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
• Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.

• Provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a chef role, preferably in a sandwich bar, café, or restaurant.
