As the Project Manager (Planning), you will bring your advanced town planning and development experience to support the company's ambitious new restaurant growth targets. What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
+ Managing and accelerating the Development Application (DA) phase of our new restaurant pipeline
+ Coordinating with key consultants including; legal, town planning, acoustic, engineering and architectural
+ Managing relationships and interactions with Council, including attending and speaking at Council/Panel meetings
+ Coordinating council approvals for reinvestment across the McDonald's portfolio
+ Reviewing application packages prior to lodgement and providing feedback to consultants on design and planning considerations
+ Gathering information and advising on planning issues related to proposed, existing or leased sites
+ Reporting key development progress and milestone to internal stakeholders and departments
Your keys to success:
+ An experienced planner looking at complimenting and further building your skills in the development space
+ Bachelor's degree in Town Planning
+ At least 5 years experience in development application management
+ Exposure to the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry

+ Notifies the Construction Project Manager of any observed variations.
+ Monitors and reports status against key performance indicators or contractual metrics on a routine basis, ensuring the Construction Project Manager is updated.
+ Understand site requirements, specifically the implementation of US versus Australian design standards and CONUS versus OCONUS procurement.
+ Ensures compliance with environmental health and safety requirements.

+ Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination and large projects.

+ Provides support to the Project Manager, ensuring department and project objectives regarding budget, schedule, and quality targets are achieved.
+ Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
+ Provides high-level coordination support, liaises, and communicates with internal/external stakeholders.
+ Provides support to the proposals team prior to, during, and following tenders, including organizing project documentation, providing vendor feedback, and supporting contract negotiations.
