Skills & Experience  
•    2+ years’ worth of experience working in a restaurant, bistro or hotel.
•    Experience on multiple sections including larder, fryer and grill. 
•    Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WH&S practices. 
•    Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow kitchen procedures. 
•    Passion for food preparation and willingness to learn across all kitchen areas. 
•    Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a professional attitude.

•    Prepare and cook food as directed, including baking, pastry, and butchery tasks.

About the Role
As a Housekeeping Attendant at Rydges Sydney Airport, you’ll play a vital role in delivering our signature luxury experience in a fast-paced, high-occupancy environment. You’ll be responsible for servicing and thoroughly cleaning hotel rooms to our established standards, ensuring every space is immaculate, welcoming, and ready for our guests. Skills & Experience 
•    Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel, ideally in high-volume settings. 
•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. 
•    Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and operational policies. 
•    Understanding of workplace health and safety (WH&S) practices and hazard reporting. 
•    Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within allocated timeframes. 
•    Strong communication skills, with a professional approach to guest interactions. 

Key Accountabilities
•    Service and clean allocated guest rooms to the highest standards within the designated time. 
•    Replenish and manage guest supplies to ensure rooms are fully stocked. 
•    Report any maintenance issues or potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor promptly. 
•    Follow all housekeeping policies, procedures, and WH&S guidelines as outlined by the hotel. 
•    Maintain a consistently high level of personal grooming and professional appearance. 
•    Immediately notify the Housekeeping Office of any unusual or abnormal situations observed.

About the Role  
As Front Office Manager at Rydges, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our signature guest experience while ensuring seamless daily operations. You’ll coordinate and oversee the running of the hotel in the absence of the Hotel Manager or Guest Experience Manager, with a strong focus on leading the Front Office team. Your responsibilities will include managing front-of-house operations, monitoring hotel security, and driving profitability across departments.

Key Responsibilities 
•    Lead the daily operations of the Front Office and Reservations departments, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient team performance.
•    Act as Manager on Duty, overseeing hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager or Guest Experience Manager.
•    Drive a strong service culture by coaching the team on QT’s service values and ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional guest service.
•    Coordinate staffing across departments to ensure coverage aligns with operational needs and financial targets.
•    Maintain high visibility in the lobby, especially during VIP and group arrivals, ensuring all preparations are executed flawlessly.
Financial & Operational Excellence
•    Maximise occupancy and average room rate through strategic planning and collaboration with key stakeholders.
•    Monitor and control departmental expenses including consumables, printing, uniforms, and energy usage, in line with budget guidelines.
•    Cultivate a proactive sales culture, encouraging up-selling and on-selling techniques to boost revenue.
•    Prepare monthly reports and manage financial controls in conjunction with the General Manager and Financial Controller.
People & Culture
•    Recruit, train, and develop Front Office and Reservations staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering career growth.
•    Promote a positive team environment through regular communication, structured training, and recognition of achievements.
•    Ensure compliance with WH&S standards, company policies, and grooming guidelines to maintain a safe and professional workplace.

  
Skills & Experience 
•    3+ years of experience in hotel front office operations, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role within a fast-paced hotel or similar property. 
•    Strong understanding of occupancy and yield management strategies, with a track record of maximising average room rate and revenue. 
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams. 
•    Demonstrated ability to manage departmental budgets, control costs, and monitor financial performance. 
•    Experience in managing guest feedback channels, resolving complaints, and driving continuous service improvement. 
•    Skilled in workforce planning, rostering, and ensuring cost-effective staffing aligned with operational needs.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Digital Marketing Executive

DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing Department

REPORTS TO: Business Development Manager, Hotel Manager

Detailed Responsibilities include:

• Day to Day management of social media platforms ensuring EVENT brand standards are met

• Attract, engage and qualify Influencers and Bloggers to feature the hotel repost quantified content

• Assist in and attending client events and trade shows as required

• Be the Workplace Champion for the hotel ensuring brand standards are staff engagement is achieved

• Source and contribute ideas to support the companies’ goals and values.

• Engage with Head of Departments to compile the Hotel Staff Monthly Newsletter

• Source, Create and Promote Hotel campaigns, F&B, EVENTS and accommodation promotions via various online platforms

(example, Spice News, Nibbler, Event connect) via Print, Film, Radio, Media Channels and thru Internal Marketing and displays

throughout the hotel.

• Updating online content on rydges.com and third party sites as required

• Qualitative reporting of social media and online content platforms (brand.com & hosted restaurant or conference sites)

• Follow and adhere to the Brand Standards associated with Print and Signage throughout the hotel

• Manage the marketing and content of the hotels IPTV system

• Manage the marketing and content of the hotels Digital Signage system

• Manage the marketing and content of the hotels WIFI system

• Create in house marketing pieces using CANVA or equivalent

• Ensure all hotel brochures and collateral are up to date and meet brand standard

• Liaise, promote and engage in all aspects of the hotel with the SYD Airport community via various means including but not

limited to a monthly newsletters and portals.

• Updating online content, images and promotions on brand.com and TPI/ OTA websites ensuring scores and rankings are

achieved weekly.

• Liaising with the media and contacts for photo shoots, editorials, advertisements

• Handling of sponsorships, prizes, donations and promotion of gift cards

• Co-ordination and source marketing and advertising opportunities in line with monthly budgets

• Implementation of marketing strategy, action plan and calendar for Rydges Sydney Airport under the direction of Hotel Manager,

General Manager and EVENTS Social Marketing Manager at Head Office

• Assist the sales team with liaising with travel and corporate account managers to promote the Hotel

• Conducting telemarketing sales calls to incumbent and new clients

• Conducting site inspections of the hotel as required

• Maintaining current client relationships and develop new clients

• Maintain and update client data base

• Assisting in administrative duties such as client contracts, quoting as required via the IVVY system

• Coordinate database management internally and with Rydges corporate office.

• Coordinate database management internally request and distribution of EDMs via head office as required

• Compiling both weekly and monthly Sales & Marketing Reports (Social Media and Google Analytics reporting)

• Any additional tasks as directed by Director of Sales and Marketing, Hotel Manager.

• Assisting the BDMs as required

• Maintaining relationships and liaising with the terminal
