Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing and grooming.  Provide transportation assistance to clients. Provide respite care to clients and their families. Keep accurate and up to date records or clients' care plans and progress.  Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of clients. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with latest developments and best practices in the NDIS field.  Requirements A minimum of high school or equivalent. Certificate 2 or 4 in individual support or willing to work towards completion(highly regarded). Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disability. Day shift, night shifts, sleepovers and weekends. Strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines. Understanding of health and safety regulations. Ability to work with a diverse client base, understanding the different support needs of clients based on their abilities, cultural backgrounds, and language requirements.  Basic care and first aid skills.  Strong computer skills, including proficiency in microsoft office suite.
