- Partner with wider RME team to provide a high level of equipment availability to internal customers.
- Coach and train technicians in the basics of control systems fault finding to foster an environment of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with the AU/EU Controls network to enhance the capability to monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide visualization and data to internal customers.
- Collaborate with IT, EU Controls Engineering and Operations Engineering to maintain system documentation and backup procedures.
- Collaborate with Global teams to support the installation and commission of new equipment.
- Support other sites in the AU network as required.
- Interpret both mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Improve strategies for code conforming to IEC 61131-3.

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipment performing at its best. We're a technically skilled team of of collaborative professionals guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network.
Basic Qualifications
Relevant experience with PLC controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment.
Experience supporting a wide range of different conveyors and sortation systems.
Experience in dealing with material handling, flow and capacity visualization and monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications

A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial electronics or another technical subject.

Our focus in on providing high quality hard services lead technical support service to our client base. The technician ensures minimal downtime and optimal performance through skilled mechanical and automation expertise.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative and unplanned maintenance on conveyor systems, including mechanical components like motors, gearboxes, chains, belts, bearings, shafts, rollers and sprockets.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) if required and sensors.
+ Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, perform repairs, and replace worn or damaged parts to prevent system failures.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose and resolve faults.
+ Collaborate with other technicians and operators, using computerized management systems to track work orders and parts.
+ Follow safety protocols, maintain clean work environments, and participate actively in health and safety programs.
+ Perform related tasks such as equipment cleaning, rigging, hoisting, and calibration.
**The Ideal Candidate**
+ CERT III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) (Or equivalent)
+ Construction Induction (White Card) (CPCCWHS1001)
+ Valid Driver's Licence
+ 4 years' experience within manufacturing or facilities management is highly desirable
+ Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting is essential but not required.

+ Work safely at heights (RIIWHS204D)
+ Supervise work in confined spaces (RIIWHS401D)
+ Forklift licence (LF - High Risk Licence)

# Project Overview:
Bechtel Mining and Metals offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the mining sector across multiple commodities including Iron Ore, Bauxite, Alumina, Aluminium, Copper, Gold, Coal, Lithium and Rare Earths markets. The M&M global business unit also has offices in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide in Australia along with execution units in the United States, Peru, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, India and other project locations around the world.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will plan, develop, and review control systems design work, produce drawings and documentation, and prepare design estimates for a project. You will coordinate with clients, facilitate technical discussions, and review and approve drawings, calculations, and bid summaries. You will solve complex technical issues and ensure control systems designs comply with all regulations and standards.
_This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership_
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Leads or administers work of Control Systems designers and drafters for a business line technology to include?the preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models and?construction drawings?
+ Develops designs for complete and complex Control Systems engineering systems such as earthwork, drainage, road?design, foundation, and steel detailing with minimum?supervision from which detailed scale models and/or?construction drawings are completed. Ensures Control Systems designs comply with all?applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards
+ Assists in constructing detailed scale models?
+ Prepares or assists with the preparation of assigned material?requisitions and bid evaluations?
+ Monitors and checks work for compliance with approved?Control Systems design standards to provide quality design,?reliable/safe plant operation and construction economy?
+ Participates in constructability reviews?
+ Prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize design?effort?

# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
# Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Broad progressive work experience in design engineering, science or other relevant types of engineering such as systems startup, field engineering or plant operation in large scale mining facilities, bulk-material handling facilities, mineral processing facilities, industrial plants, utilities, process plants, or engineering/construction firms.
+ Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria, guides & procedures and codes relevant to electrical and instrumentation discipline.
+ Strong technical expertise with experience in designing protection and control circuits.
+ Proven experience in engineering design tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD and Navisworks Simulate. Experience with Smart3D and Smart Instrumentation highly regarded.

**Position Description:**
Our Cognizant Automation practice focuses on providing Robotic Process Automation, Machine learning and Analytics solutions including generative AI for mission critical business processes to major industries globally. We are seeking an Automation Service Line Specialist to grow our presence in select high growth focus accounts in Australia.
In this role, the Automation Service Line Specialist will be responsible for sales of Automation, AI, Analytics & Consulting services in the assigned focus accounts. The position will manage our go to market sales strategy, identify, qualify and close new business opportunities, grow revenue and expand our stakeholder footprint within the accounts. The position will work with, and leverage, our consulting, advisory, technology CoE and solution delivery teams.
**Responsibilities:**
· Prepare and execute an Automation sales (hunting and farming) strategy for the assigned accounts with the company's industry vertical sales teams.
· Own revenue, margin, pipeline, TCV and customer satisfaction for the assigned accounts.
· Own all activities in a sales cycle - building a qualified pipeline of opportunities, creating a differentiated solution proposal aligned to a client's needs, creating a win-win commercial model and driving closure of the sale.
· Collaborate with teams across Cognizant to create targeted pitches and solution offerings.
· Respond to RFIs and RFPs from prospects and clients.
· Build & manage senior and mid-level customer relationships in Business & IT.
· Engage with strategic product partners for joint marketing and sales, plan and participate in relevant industry events and so on. Drive pipeline planning, lead generation and joint pursuits with them.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Track record of growing a successful IT, Consulting or AI practice. Experience in selling Automation, Process Consulting, Data & Analytics solutions.
· Strong understanding of AI solutions with specific focus on Gen AI by working on various cloud partners like Google, AWS and Microsoft
· Experience supporting account teams and building collaborative relationships with external and internal partners.
· Business acumen, communication and drive for results.
· Strong leadership skills, particularly with highly diverse teams.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Exceptional client management skills and experience.
· Hands on working style, willing to roll up his / her sleeves to 'get the job done'.

Reporting to the **Senior Estimating Supervisor** , this role will be responsible for building up the solution and cost estimate for qualified opportunities.

+ Work on point take-off and build up the optimised solution for an opportunity
+ Support the Solution Advisors with required inputs to close the Engineering review and Technical Risk review
