**What You'll do (the role)**
The Senior Project Procurement Manager will be responsible for the overall procurement process, from RFI/Q to Supply Contract Executions. You will work with Category Managers for Modules/ Structures/ Inverters/ Transformers/BESS/Wind to execute the strategy at a country/regional level.
Working closely with the Lightsource bp Business Development and Construction teams to scan the market, provide accurate estimations, close agreements, and ensure on cost, on time and on quality deliveries.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
+ Continuously scan the solar PV, Wind & Energy Storage ESS in target regions within Asia-Pacific (APAC) market and provide regular intelligence to Category Managers and Head of APAC Regional Procurement.
+ Manage, evaluate, and maintain local -supplier and vendor pre-qualification database, forming strong relationships with key suppliers in APAC along with the Category Managers.
+ Provide accurate cost estimations to Business Development Team.
+ Coordinate and manage one or more internal project teams/projects.
+ Define the project procurement strategy with project stakeholders.
+ Manage Frame Agreements, full supply agreement and/ or head of terms call-off and RFIs/RFQs with the support of Category Managers.
+ Launch RfPs, receive bids & offers, prepare comparisons, clarifications and analyze offers with different stakeholders.
+ Place and process purchasing transactions according to agreed terms.
+ Monitors all equipment purchases to ensure purchase order information matches the shipment and Confirm subcontractor compliance and meets project requirements.
+ Ensure that project costs are properly categorized and that a feedback loop mechanism is in place to compare and adjust estimating costs vs. actual project costs including but not limited to production rates and cost of materials.
+ Support teams on supplier escalations with technical disputed items, schedule, revenue-risk, and on-going support services
+ Continuous update of internal procurement database platforms.
+ Coordinate queries and communication with the supplier on behalf of internal stakeholders towards a offering, or any potential solution.
+ Coordinate procurement related communications with management and internal stakeholders for progress, and risks.
+ Identify, prequalify, and manage suppliers across the APAC region, especially in project target regions in coordination with Category Managers, Engineering and ESG team. Ensure procurement processes align with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards and local content requirements.
**Who we're looking for**
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Preferred -master's degree in engineering or business;
+ Fluent English spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus, especially Mandarin, or any Asian language.
+ CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or PMP certification or similar process-oriented certification are optional but additional value.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
+ Extensive 5-7 yrs experiences in the Solar PV, Wind and Energy Storage industry.
+ Understanding of PV module technologies, efficiencies and use case. Inverter specifications, trackers, and BOS (Balance of System) components specially in a large-scale hybrid project.
+ Extensive knowledge of warranty, LDs (liquidated damages), force majeure, and claims management in supply contracts.
+ Relevant experience in procurement and subcontracting in similar position;
+ Experience in supporting multi-functional projects in an international work environment with remote locations;
+ Understanding of a typical project lifecycle, basic understanding of financing and modelling of CapEx and OpEx.
+ Strong contract experience and knowledge;
+ Strong understanding with ERP;
+ Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office tools;
+ Willingness to travel.

Basic Qualifications

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will have the opportunity to own Sales & Operations (S&OP) planning at the highest level for Amazon's fulfillment business in Australia. You will have a holistic view of supply and demand within the Amazon fulfillment network and be an integral part in creating and implementing large scale strategic initiatives in inventory placement optimization, delivery speed, transportation cost, labor capacity management and more - all with the goal of better serving our customers. There will rarely be a perfect solution, so it will be up to you to make data driven decisions and manage stakeholder relationships while planning and executing within an ever-changing environment.
Interfacing with AU FC Operations, Transportation, Business and Tech teams, you will be a key member of the AU Supply Chain team. The role demands strong analytical and mathematical capabilities. The candidate will analyze various supply chain data and metrics to define an intelligent inventory inbound/inventory placement/Short and Long term planning for Amazon's supply chain network to drive cost efficiency, he/she will also look into our fulfillment system/logic and optimize our outbound process. You'll be able to contribute directly to our customers' experience with the Amazon supply chain, impact placement of millions of units of inventory, and reduce fulfillment costs while maximizing free cash flow.
The broad mission of the S&OP team is to align and optimize the FC network plan for labor and capacity constraints, ideal placement and buy volumes, plan accuracy, and improve tools to automate the planning process. Each week S&OP provide an accurate short to medium term aggregate fulfillment plan (up to 13 weeks) for the AU Amazon fulfillment network. The plan reflects the projected fulfillment needs of the Retail/FBA teams and partners, and includes all inbound and outbound flows across the network. The FC leadership uses this plan in making decisions on full-time and temporary labor as well as in supporting other decisions within the FCs. Also, multiple teams in AU Supply Chain and Transportation organization consume our plan to make critical weekly decisions. The plan also serves as the basis for storage and throughput planning during peak periods. Each published plan should satisfy the best given conditions of labor, storage and throughput capacity requirements of the network while minimizing the total cost to serve customer.
