# Project Overview:
The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.

Bechtel has been awarded the Ar Rjum gold project feasibility study update and related works by Ma'aden, Saudi Arabia's state-owned mining company. # Job Summary:
In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project's civil aspects where you will lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil components and processes.
Your technical expertise will ensure the unique and complex requirements of a project's civil/structural aspects are met.
_This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. In this role, you will be reporting to the workshop supervisor and responsible for interpreting workshop drawings to determine the required material, production method and sequence of operations needed to produce fabricated parts within our quality requirements. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining measuring tools, power tools, and hand tools required to produce the fabricated parts.

Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade - Boilermaker (or equivalent)
  • Considerable experience in MIG welding
  • Experience with stainless steel is advantageous
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Skilled in operating equipment used in fabrication
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Candidates with a forklift, dogman (DG) and/or high-risk work licenses are encouraged to apply

**The Role**
This role will be working in Raytheon's Combat System Support Agent team maintaining the RAN's capability on the Hobart Class DDG Destroyers.
You will be the technical lead of a team of systems, hardware, software, speciality engineering and logistics designers developing and implementing design changes to the Combat System, experiencing the whole design lifecycle from requirements definition through to customer Acceptance.
With a physical presence at the DDGs home port you will have opportunity to interact directly with members of the DDG System Project Office and Ship Staff, the end users of your work.
Positions are available at the DDGs home port at Garden Island, NSW and at Raytheon offices in Macquarie Park, NSW, Mawson Lakes, SA and Cannon Hill, Qld
+ In close co-operation with your peer Project Manager, planning and managing a variety of projects that span the entire systems engineering lifecycle, including undertaking
+ Development of integrated master plans and schedules
+ Development of organisation structures
+ Allocation of team members to tasking
+ Monitoring the technical performance against plan and taking corrective action when required
+ Identification of risks and opportunities
+ Accurate and timely reporting to the Project Manager and other stakeholders
+ Liaison with Subject Matter Experts both within the CSSA and with Raytheon's functional leads
+ Developing and delivering presentation material for regular stakeholder meetings and at major status reviews
+ Share expertise and lessons learned with your peers
+ Provide mentoring and career development advice to team members
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
+ 5+ years experience leading a multidisciplinary technical team

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the engineering integrity of the systems, equipment and for the VLF Transmitter and supporting infrastructure. We are looking someone that can lead and maintain a small, high performing team that delivers engineering outcomes, following a rigorous engineering change process.
As a senior program leader, you will be member of the Program Leadership Team providing advice and recommendations for strategy, execution and growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Definition, deployment and enforcement of NCSHEH engineering processes, including their integration within the program;
+ Exercising Raytheon Australia Engineering Authority in accordance with defined engineering processes applicable to projects undertaken within the Program;
+ Liaison with departmental leaders and other program staff to ensure all systems / sub-systems are appropriately monitored and supported, with necessary changes defined and/or developed to meet user requirements;
+ Manage the conduct of Engineering and Technical analysis for desired reliability, maintainability, availability, safety, and cost-effectiveness outcomes including the conduct of in-depth investigations and providing recommendations for actions.
+ Development and implementation of engineering changes according to company and program procedures;
+ Leadership of technical reviews and audits within the Program as well as planning, estimating, resourcing and scheduling of engineering tasks;
+ Liaison with the Commonwealth Representative on project engineering issues, design process, engineering development and life-cycle support; and timely notification to the Commonwealth of all defects and design deficiencies as they become apparent.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
+ At least eight years of professional engineering (post-graduate) experience.
+ Experience in Engineering and project-engineering management.
+ Experience in leading a diverse range of technical disciplines and staff.
+ Solid understanding of applicable contract and legislated requirements and the suitable application of technical specifications and standards.
